if building A was a 2 story with the second floor being held up by a steel beam that was 12"x12"x16' and building B was also a 2 story with the second floor being held up by a wooden beam that was 12"x 12"x 16' and both buildings caught on fire at the same time and burnt for a period of time to where the temperature of both buildings reached 2,000 degrees, I wonder which building would collaps first?

I know we have found over 150 extra solar planets already. As we find new ways to discover planets alot quicker, the chances of finding one like our own increases ten fold. Im taking a guess...i dont know by how many but ill make another guess...its alot. will we get another telescope like the hubble to take great pics also!? It would be the discovery of a million life times!!

Help me, I'm an amateur! But Newton's 2nd Law, saying force equals mass times acceleration, seems unquestionably true. As a kid riding on a merry-go-round, I loved to get in the center and ride straddling the axis, to see the big outer edge make the circuit in the same time that I made it. But later I learned that a galaxy doesn't spin quite like a carousel: gravitational force toward the outside is weaker,so stars near the center should go around faster, with rotation speed varying precisely in proportion to distance. Wrong! Astronomers detect a "drag" starting about halfway toward the outside, easily explainable by dark matter. But MOND theory tweaks Newton's 2nd Law to explain away dark matter. Weird! WHY?

A new bulb glows its expected span of life. After its full use the bulb is not broken and nothing entered or came out of it except light. I am just curious to know whether weight of the new bulb and the used bulb is the same or diffrent.

This is not flaming rather I am puzzled.

In evolution where are the transitional fossils of one species to another?
I know someone may point out a certain species of creature and point to another species of creature which may have some kind similarity and an evolutionist will say this creature evolved from this species to this other species. But there are no fossils to show the transitional changes. You have creature A and creature Z but no transitional creatures inbetween A to Z.

I know that the two events are probably independent (unless you are the pilot), and therefore P (A!B) should be P(A), but isn't the probablity of being involved in two plane crashes lower than being involved in one plane crash?
