The first option we go for is high-concentration oxygen. And to the guy who said someone was an idiot and thought we were stupid to go to a doctor for oxygen...atmospheric air is only 21% O2...with medical equipment, we can provide nearly 100% O2 - almost 5 times the supply. In addition, we can use hyperbaric (high pressure) oxygen delivery to increase the blood's oxygen saturation.
Now, when we look at other chemicals in the smoke, there may be other treatments indicated. For example, let's say you have an agricultural fire, and someone is exposed to toxic levels of an organophosphate (some pesticides, for example). Treatment may include large doses of atropine sulfate. But, again, this is for a poisoning, and not smoke inhalation by it's strictest definition.

Your question could mean what does smoke inhalation consist of: that would be 40,000 chemicals, including arsenic.
Cure: quit and in time the lungs CAN if not damaged too much heal themselves.
Second hand smoke is worse because it goes in as certain chemicals and comes out with worse chemicals!

first the person could be put on ventilation !your ?is not clear....it is an artificial breathing where oxygen is gushed into your respiratory system...through our nasal passage>smoke can be different types ...it can consist different chemicals in it!for eg cigar smoke has 4000 chemicals in it!smoke from exhaust fumes have sulphourdioxide and carbon monoxide...which could be chronic when inhaled!ventilation is usually used to remove dangerous toxic gases from our alveoli thus preventing diffusion of toxic chemicals getting incorporated into our blood stream!
