Trying to Conceive - November 2006

I know that they say you are fertile 3 days before and 4 days after. My question is if you were to concieve 3 days before your period, would you still have that period. Just wondering because my period came on time but ended quickly and now a few weeks later I think I'm feeling some symptoms. Help Please!!!!!

i know sperm can live in your for 72 hours or 3 days. do u count the day you have sex as the first day of that 3 day journey or do u count the next day.

This might sound like a dumb question but i have always wondered.

If it takes so long to have a baby for some people on here they say they've been trying for like 6 years...ive almost been trying for a year....i thinkif i have to wait for 5 more years to roll around and still not be pregnant...I'll adopt. Why do some of you keep trying? I just know for me its been extremely frusterating and it hasnt even been that long...how do you keep yourselfs from noit going completely insane?

Has anyone or know anyone who has had a light shorter period from there norm and not know they were pregnant and not have another signs but that and end up being pregnant and is it possible???

I just did an ovulation calander to predict my most fertile dates. It gave me two days in the month and would you believe as hard as weve been trying these are the only two dates we missed. However, we had sex around these dates. Does sperm live for 48 hours and therefore may i have still fallen pregnant? Very consfusing!

I have been on birth control for 8 years and this is my first month off. By my old bc cycle i should start on thursday. Last night i had cramps that continued this morning and then they just went away. My nipples are extreamly sore which never happens and I'm not bloated like I usually am when I am about to start. I took a test yesterday morning b/c I'm impatient but it was neg. Could I still be pregnant or are these normal premenstral symptoms? I don't really remember what it was like to start my period before birth control.

I've been trying to get pregnant for the past 4 months. Well so far I've had my period everytime but it has been a little different (Lighter, earlier). The last time I had my period was October 17 and had sex everyday around ovulation.. (Oct.27-November 3) I still have 4 more days til my period is suppose to come. But the last week or so I have been feeling very different then I normally do, (even before I have my period), My nipples and around areas hurt a lot, I'm pretty sleepy, sometimes I get these light cramps on one side, a little moody, running to the bathroom more & I have headaches all the time. I'm not sure if I should take a test now or wait a few more days. Please help me and give me your advice and tell me if you think I could be pregnant. Thanks a lot for reading this!

This morning (Nov.13) I took a pregnancy test and it was Negative. It was just a normal test, a cheap one (99 cents) from the dollar store. But I still have 4 days before my period is suppose to arrive.

Ok well I have all the early symptons of pregnancy but I've taken two HPT the first I took a few days before my missed period and I too another one this morning 5 days after my missed period...my husband and I had sex during my ovulation time so there is a possiablity.... so my question is does any one think im prego.....should I take another HPT or should I got to my gyno and have a blood test? (my gyno is kinda an *** the last time I thought i was prego he refused to give me a blood test just so you know) I might also throw in that I was sick about a week ago with the flu could that have anything to do with any of this (Im better now)

I've never had this happen and I want to know about how many days before your period do they start getting sore for you. For the first time in my life I'm having sore nipples and it's been going on for about 5 to 6 days now and my period isn't going to start til the 18th. My periods are very regular.

Would love to be PG!
I do have other symptoms but that's my main question right now.

My last period started on 10/17. My husband and I have had sex almost every other day from day 9 through day 27. My periods are normally exactly 3 weeks apart. Would it bee too soon to take a pregnancy test today?

Hi everyone....I went off bc almost a month and a half ago....and am late for my next period. Since I went off bc mid-cycle I know that my body is messed up. I just need to know there are others like me going through the same things....like....
I've never had cramps in my life (I know some of you will hate me for that) and now I just started experiencing cramps, my breasts are extremely sore, another first and I just feel "off". Any advice on how to deal with this? I'm waiting another week to see if my period shows before spending money on a test. Before going on the pill as well as during, I never experienced these symptoms before. Are they normal?

I've been showing some signs of pregnancy and want to know what you think. My nipples have been very sore for the past 5 or 6 days. Been tired alot, and visiting the bathroom alot. Some cramping as well. I'm not supposed to start til the 18th and I was wondering, if my nipples are sore because of PMS would it have started getting sore that early before my period? Also I've never had them be sore before because of a period. And usually I will only start cramping a day or maybe two days before my period and they are really regular. So could it be pregnancy?
