I've been trying to get pregnant for the past 4 months. Well so far I've had my period everytime but it has been a little different (Lighter, earlier). The last time I had my period was October 17 and had sex everyday around ovulation.. (Oct.27-November 3) I still have 4 more days til my period is suppose to come. But the last week or so I have been feeling very different then I normally do, (even before I have my period), My nipples and around areas hurt a lot, I'm pretty sleepy, sometimes I get these light cramps on one side, a little moody, running to the bathroom more & I have headaches all the time. I'm not sure if I should take a test now or wait a few more days. Please help me and give me your advice and tell me if you think I could be pregnant. Thanks a lot for reading this!

This morning (Nov.13) I took a pregnancy test and it was Negative. It was just a normal test, a cheap one (99 cents) from the dollar store. But I still have 4 days before my period is suppose to arrive.

I am in the EXACT same boat as you! I am due for my period the same time as you and had my last one the same time. I am also having sore breasts, sleepy, nausea, and a little cramping. I too, tested negative so I have decided to hold off for two weeks to take another. Hard, I know, but I am being safe and taking my vitamins...so good luck to you! And me =)

If we guess that you ovulated on November 3rd (at the lastest) you could still be just 10 days past ovulation (at the least). That's still early to get a positive pregnancy test. People who turn out to be pregnant only get a positive at 10dpo about 5% of the time. The dollar store tests are pretty good, and they're relatively sensitive. I suggest you test every morning (first thing, when the hCG hormone that the tests check for is most concentrated in your urine). I had a negative on days 10 and 11dpo, and then got my positive on day 12. It can happen later than that too.

Your symptoms sound like pregnancy to me! If you're the sort to go nuts if you keep seeing negatives, test every two or three days, but I think it's just a matter of time before you get your big fat positive. Good luck!

I did the same thing as you did. I tried and tried. And i found that the more you try the less off you are to get pregnant. Don't think about it so much. Just lay back and relax and it will happen. Stress will make getting pregnant worse. Also try waiting 3 days before your period or 3 days after. Good luck and i wish you the best.

i would wait a little onger and test again. the first response early is one that was recommended to me as it can read your hcg level sooner than most other tests.

also , i read in a few places that you may want to try skipping a day when trying as your man's boys will strengthen.

hope you are fortunate and that you really are pregnant though. lots of baby dust to you/

I would wait to take a test until you have actually missed your period.

Relax. Don't test again until Friday.
