hi i had my membrane sweep 3 days ago and have lost my mucus plug. In the middle of the night i had 2 hours of really painful contractions at 8 minutes apart. they were painful in my front and back and i had to take paracetamols and a water bottle to ease pains. now they have virtually stopped and im having the odd scattered ones does anyone know what this indictaes and if this can happen during true labour? i no its not braxton hicks as i had them for months now and its completely more painful. the pain is mostly in the bottom part of my stomache .

i Know some of you may think this is a silly question, but i'm pregnant for the first time, and paranoid about everything lol. What i'm wondering is when your waters break, do you automaically begin having contractions, and is there a specific feeling you get when your waters are breaking? basically i'm worried that they could break when you go to the toilet or are in the bath and would there be any chance you wouldn't know??

My doctor is planning on tieing my tubes after I have my second son Jan 2nd. He said, If I didn't get my tubes tied that my uterus would rupture and kill the baby and I next time I try and get pregnant. So I thought it best for my sons and I if I do that. What happens in this process and will anything change after that? I am only 22 I feel so young to have something done like this, but I don't wanna risk dieing and not seeing my 2 boys grow up.

Hello,

I was just wondering if there is a possibility of being pregnant. My period is a week late, but I have been experiencing period pains since Christmas eve. I've also been exhausted lately, feeling nauseas alot, I've gone of certain foods- really fussing. Some foods make me sick.
I've been getting "pulling" in my abdomin aswell. Alot of back/leg ache. I've also been dizzy and fainting alot. My boobs aren't sore though- no more than usual anyway.
I am sexually active.

AFTER VISITING MY GYN ON WEDNESDAY I WAS TOLD MY CERVIX IS OPENING. ON JUNE 23 06 I HAD A PREMATURE BABY OF 22 WEEKS. I AM NOW 22 WEEKS PREGNANT AGAIN AND MY CERVIX IS ALREADY OPENING. THEY TELL ME IF I CAN MAKE IT 5 MORE WEEKS THERE WILL BE A CHANCE THAT IF THE BABY IS BORN PREMATURE WHICH THEY ARE EXPECTING IT CAN SURVIVE. I AM ONLY 23 AND DONT FULLY UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON. i have already asked this but i added more so here we go.im 16yrs old and i ejaculated on my girlfriends underwear. it was only a spot about the size of a 5 cent coin but it was where her vagina sits.we heard sperm dies in heat so we dried them with a hair dryer and then we didnt wash them but just wet the spot of sperm a little bit. we then dried them in the dryer so the water dryed up. we then used the hair dryer again to make sure the sperm was dead. from the time the sperm touched her panties to when she put them back on it was about 1 hour after. is there any chance of her becoming pregnant. plz answer fast im really worried and then we can take the mornin after pill b4 its too late.the sperm that fell was inside her underwear so it would have being touching here vagina as i said we dryed them in a dryer and with a hair dryer and they were dry to what we could tell. so is there any chance at all of prenacy. im really worried as my GF thinks abortion are wrong and would never doit

I went through a tough time 8 weeks ago, I had a miscarriage and since then, I have received so much support and help. I just wanted to know how ican thank all those people? It was themt hat made me get through it all and I just wanted as well to give them my good news......Im going to be a mum !!!!!, found out yesterday, I am as scared as hell but Iknow those people who helped me through the miscarriage, will support me through this pregnancy. My boyfriend and i had unprotected sex [stupid, and we've stopped having sex] on november 11th. He pulled out in about 1 minute, but i know about the possiblity of pre ejaculate..thats why im worrying. I had no symptoms, except sore breasts leading up to my NORMAL period, then stopping. I also took two tests, one on the 11th and one on the morning of the 12th, at a pregnancy clinic, both were negative.
I still have no real symptoms, occasional tummy aches, but nothing too bad. With all this, should i worry? I had a normal period, No real symptoms, and he didn't ejaculate. Should i worry?

My last period was November 22nd. 3 tests all say no. I am having mild cramping, slight soreness in my nipples, and pimples galore! I have been pregnant before and I remember my breasts were KILLING me at this point, I was already throwing up violently, and my first HPT came back positive. I am worried that I might have an ectopic pregnancy. This was my first month off the pill, but I usually get my period every 28 days on or off BC. Last time I got pregnant, I was on the pill. I have an appointment to get a blood test on Tuesday, but I can't stop thinking about it. Any advice?

Ok, a few days ago, i asked the question about what to do about the soreness and cramps that i was haveing. well i tryed warm baths, and all that great relaxing stuff that people suggested, but it only seemed to make it worse. I was wandering if anyone knew why i was getting these horrible pains. My doc told me that i have had braxton hicks my hole pregnancy, im 34 weeks right now. i have also had the cramps my hole pregnancy too. could this be something serious, or possibly the baby just getting ready, i mean i still have approx 6 more weeks. the pains just hurt extremely bad, and the pains arnt in the same place as the cramps. the cramps are like period cramps. the pain is in the hole area of where they baby comes out of. these pains are so bad that sometimes i can barley walk or move my legs. if anyone could help i would much apprecate it. thanks so much.
