Palmer's has a few different kinds of lotion for stretch marks.. my favorite is called tummy butter. It comes in a little tub and it's very heavy so it stays on all night or all day, but it doesn't leave any marks on your clothes. The regular lotion or cocoa butter they have work great too (the cocoa butter smells awesome) I keep a mini tube of the regular lotion in my purse in case my stomach gets itchy during the day. Palmer's is also great because you can get it anywhere.

To be honest, no lotion will actually get rid of the stretch marks but a product called re-new stretch mark cream from Avon is supposed to help soften them quite a bit.

Good luck..and I feel your pain! I'm trying everything!

The best cream that I have seen work is something called, "Mothers Friend." My mom had seven of us kids and she has no stretch marks, she swares by that product. I hope that product is still on the market she says that it is in a small blue bottle shaped like a body figure. Good Luck

Honestly, i was told that using coca butter lotion is suppost to help get rid of stretch marks that you already have and help prevent you from getting them while pregnant.... BUT.... the only thing i have noticed is that coca butter just turns them white, they dont get rid of them. they also dont prevent you from getting them. so many people told me that it did, but my doc said no there is no for sure way to get rid of them or not get them. but as long as you dont gain to much weight to fast you might not get to many. i know i didnt start getting stretch marks until about 3 weeks ago, and im 34 weeks right now. good luck though, they can really be a bummer sometimes. let me know if you hear of anything that works too. im interested in this topic.

there isnt anything topically you can put on to get rid of stretch marks.
Stretch marks start/form at the middle layer of skin--it is too deep for anything to get to.
cremes you put on only touch the surface of your skin.

surgery would be your best bet after baby--and even that isnt a sure thing.

Pure shea butter is the one that I have heard works the best. I haven't used it long enough to know if it will help me get rid of mine. It doesn't smell that great, but it is great for dry skin. I prefer to use it at night before going to bed. Hope this helps!
