Make an appointment asap...you'll need pre natal vitamins and such...about your cold I'd do nothing more than plain ole Tylenol which is safe during pregnancy...until you speak with your Dr.....oh by the way Congratulations!:~)

Most clinics that I know of won't see you for a pregnancy until you are at least 6 weeks along. So if you are 9 weeks, you should make your 1st appointment now. And you should always ask a health professional before taking any kind of medicine when you are pregnant (especially if you are diabetic). If you get a high temperature before the appointment go to the ER or Convenient care clinic.

Now! I do not mean to lecture. But I,m sure your hormones are already biting at the bit. There is no reason to wait. Whether this is what you want or not------get good medical help now! If not for one of you, but for the other.
Please take care, and remember there are so very many avenues you can venture for your particular situation. Keep us in touch. And your OB-GYN won't care if you have a cold sore or a cold, etc.

You should schedule a doctors appointment ASAP. The cold coupled with that you are diabetic means the sooner you are under a doctors care the better. Good luck and congrads on the new baby to be.

Make your appointment as soon as possible. I always was sick when I became pregnant- the only thing that my doctor told me was to take regular Sudafed. Congrats! I wish you the best! Motherhood is challenging but sooooo worth it!

go to the doctor now and ask him what cold things you can take. you must see the doctor for pregnancy as soon as you know you are pregnant, the early days are the times you can avoid more of the problems in pregnancy.

dito-you should find a doctor now.
until you can get to one though-tylenol in all forms is safe to take, just read the bottle/boxes.
also benadryl (for allergies) & sudafed (for colds)
those are all on the list I got from my doctor.
is it possible you have the flu? if it is--you really need to get to a doc asap.
