I'm giving birth to a set of boy/girl twins in February and I'm just playing with some names.
For the boy names, I want to keep with James because that was my great-grandfather's name. As for Rose, I want to keep that as a middle name because my hubby's mom was named Rose.

Names I love:

BOYS
Alan James
Aidan James
Andrea James

GIRLS
Jennifer Rose
Irene Rose
Daniella Rose
Jenny Rose

What are some good combinations?
Other suggestions welcomed!

Thanks!

I am 14 days away from my due Date and Still cannot find a name for my son!
I do not like the all time common names such as:
Joseph, James, Micheal, Thomas, Chris, Daniel, David, Robert, JAson, and so on and so forth, those Extremely common names...
And I don't want to name him the ever so popular names right now going around for boys such as:
Dylan, Braden, Braxton, Conner, Skyler, Landon, And all those oh so common right now...
What are some good unique names for a BOY? Any one know of any good ones?

Just so we are clear on how weird I am... I have a daughter and her name Is Korbyn...
I dont want his name to be girly, just different...
Help me out! Thanks!

I like unique names that come from old books but sound like they could still work today. (Some of them remind me a lot of really popular names -- for example, the popular name Aidan comes from the same Old English book that my first three boys' names do -- but these ones are not as overused.) Here are some of my favorites. Please tell me what you think:

Boys:
Caedmon -- the first English poet
Caelin (CAL-in) -- Anglo-Saxon name
Alban -- Anglo-Saxon name
Hadrian -- Roman emperor; built a wall in England
Ashley -- from Gone With the Wind
Lysander -- from Shakespeare
Troilus -- from Shakespeare and Chaucer
Gareth -- knight in Arthurian legends
Gawain (GOW-in) --knight in Middle English poem

Girls:
Una -- heroine in Spenser's Faerie Queen (means "one truth")
Moira -- Wendy's middle name in Peter Pan
Bonnie -- Scottish word for "pretty"
Isolde -- lady in Arthurian legends
Lily -- from famous poem by Goethe
Lucy -- used in many Wordsworth poems
Ophelia -- heroine from Hamlet

i love the name Skylar for a girl, and i was wondering, if it would be okay to use?

a nickname would be Sky/Skye (do you think that looks better with an e at the end? i dont really).

please tell me what you think of Skylar for a girl, of that nickname, any middle names, and/or other names that you like for a girl. thanks.

Ok so i know a lot of people may hate it but i need opinions...My fiance and I were discusing baby names (we are ttc) and the only male name he likes is Kodiak!!! He is a wildlife biologist and LOVES bears. He even has a native american symbol of a bear tatoo! I know the name is really different but do you think its really bad! He would go by Kody for short...i really like Kody...but i can't imagine Kodiak would go over well with classmates! Is there another name that Kody could be a nickname for? I also dont know any adults with the name Kody so i would like to find another longer name that Kody could be a nickname for...any ideas?

We have some really cute girls names picked out...so i'm just hoping for all girls haha! But i know he really wants a son...

Any advice would be great!!!

What are some good girl names that go with the middle name Rose? I like Charlotte Rose, Emma Rose, and Madelyn Rose but those names are kindof overused. Also, what do you think of Jaelyn? (pronounced Jay-lynn) Thanks!
