Not sure about your keeping the same intials...maybe switch them round (Y Z) so it wont get too confusing? It kinda defeats the purpose of original and inventing naming devices if you use the same one twice.

However, I'd really advise *against* doing this to them. Sharing initials just makes everything less personal to the child - and makes it much harder for them to recognise their own stuff once things have to have names in. Not to mention mail.
Why not go for something totally different - and make it pretty for a girl, too
