as long as unverifiable paperless e-voting prevails (and what is to stop it?), the United States will be, for all practical purposes, a one-party dictatorship.

It can' t go on forever. Borrowing , records deficits, tax cuts, and a war on terra. If the American economy continues on its present course it will collapse.

when they continually lie to and try to deceive the American people through the main stream media?

Haven't they realized yet there is a new media out there now supplying the public with the facts to counter their lies. ie: Clinton's references to Richard Clarke's book and his claim of being obsessed with bin laden. And, the NIE leaks to the New York SomeTimes?
It's almost daily that they lie and Rush or Hannity or another conservative immediately research the matter and prove they lied?

I just don't think the American voters are that nieve.

I think the majority of people are not so bright... so if a smart person lives in an area that is majority conservative/liberal... they are more likely to think that the people they see everyday are represenative of those in the area's majority party... and since most people aren't too bright... would they be pulled to the other side?

guilt by association with dumb*sses?

I'm asking because I see some people that say they see liberals/conservatives every day and they are all "stupid, naive"... whatever insult you want to say... but could it be that an area is majority liberal/conservative, so naturally, even those that aren't too bright, will be part of the majority party...

what do you think?

My nephew borrowed $14,500 for his first year of school in 2002. My student loan back in 1980 for my first year was $2,500! We both attended in state non-private schools, too, so it's a good measure of the increase in cost.

I think there are going to be people paying for students loans for years! Unbeliveable....Hopefully, all the future graduates will get decent paying jobs, lol...

PS I posted something for the pre-boomers, but it could apply to all ages, because a lot of people go back to college later in life.

aside from alll of the other issues surrounding the war, what is your opinion on "operation free iraq?" don't you think its a little(VERY) self-righteous of us as americans to barge into another country and force our way of life on them??? WE may think its wrong to opress women, but thats part of their culture, right?? Basically, my question is, do you agree with americans going into iraq to change their way of life, and to impose our way on them?

Could it have something to do with Chavez telling like it is at the UN. Lord knows, you do NOT question our fearless dictator, no matter how stupid he really is(because he is surrounded by smart people, like his VP). Anyone within this administration who does not fall in line will be fired on site! DON"T QUESTION ME!!!! I know what's good for you...wire taps, tracking you thru ON-STAR...your cellphone...your bank records...and while were at it, I retro-actively declassify Valerie Plaines identity since I myself WAS the leaker, gotta get that war machine out there for daddy warbucks...

I think some people this year will not have their homes heated, because when you have the VP in bed with Big Oil dictating our national "ENERGY POLICY", then you see why gas is so expensive since 9/11(housing too).

Because I sure can tell you that Clinton didn't sit on his *** and continue his vacation while later passing the blame onto local officials. He immediately declared a State of Emergency for the earthquake over here and FEMA and federal money for relief and recovery arrived right away. We didn't even have to look to local officials because FEMA and federal relif was right there for us--no bureaucratic red tape or delays! FEMA was run by competant qualified people, not cronies/friends; so our hard-earned tax dollars were put to good use--instead of being quandered for politicans' personal gain!

God forbid we have another major earthquake while Bush is still in power!

If you have read my past predictions under the name REMY D, you would have read my predictions. I predicted that Al-Qaeda would conveniently release a tape around election time. I predicted that a "so-called" terrorist plot would be busted when Bush's poll number would sink. I predicted the comeback of the terror alert system around election time, and more SCARE tactics to brainwash America into supporting Republicans.

I've been on the money so far. Now I predict that in October Rove and Bush will orchestrate a fake capture or killing of Bin Laden or Bin Laden will conveniently release a tape within 2 months. What do you think?

Lets look at Republican SCARE tactics in action http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/august2006/150806thenexus.htm
http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/june2006/270606sevenretards.htm
This is what Bush does when his approval sinkshttp://www.hist.umn.edu/~ruggles/Approval.htm

Will Rove and Bush fake or stage a plot involving Bin Laden?
