Anyone agree with me that our so called representatives specifically our government is gradually but surely, surpressing quite vehemently and with dilliberate intent our right to disagree with and our right to even peaceably oppose those within the administration the prescribed doctine to which they would have us believe to be the only path, also that any colour government would not change this because already they have been given so much power in statue already and would not relinquish such power so as to rule over us and not because of us.

Is it just me, or could the information that these people have be a bit on the stale side? Could it possibly be pointless to torture people for information that is five years old? Perhaps the Bushies think that Osama is calling up the prisoners and telling them all about the next big job?

Is the only possible reason to torture people for ancient information the theory that Republicans will see Bush torturing these muslims and say, "It's a good thing Bush is torturing these muslims for 5 year old info; those yellow liberals wouldn't do that; I am going to vote Republican this year." As long as we're torturing people for good reasons like getting out the Republican base in the November elections, it must be all right.

I filed about a month ago, with EEOC and I had not heard nothing back as yet. So I telephoned today and the woman said I should be getting a letter next week stating my greivence is under review? So why has it taken over a month, and why the review? Does that mean they are doing an investigation? This is all new to me, so please answer honestly as this is a serious inquiry. Thank you

I've noticed that when someone mentions the November elections in a question at least one person will invariably say "Oh no, another four years of Bush", or "Bush will fix this election and get another four years."

Are there that many uninformed people who do not realize Bush is not running for President or even that he can't run again? Why don't so many people know who is up for election?

Think about it, first they wanted bin laden( a reason to get to the middle east) than iraq has weapons of mass destruction. been there for years no weapons. than a war against terrorism. for some odd reason every terrorist country is under the religion on islam. why? Finger pointing rhetoric has been dialed up this week following the Clinton/Wallace interview on Fox concerning who did what about terrorism. We cannot deny that there has been an escalating pattern of violence by terrorists against US interests since 1979. The honest truth is that Mr. Carter, Mr. Reagan, Mr Bush Sr, and Mr. Clinton did very little to take the fight to the terrorists. It is also true that Mr. Bush Jr. did little prior to 911. My question is who is really responsible for our lack of action in general?

In my opinion: The American people are responsible. Most of us knew very little about terrorism before 911, and didn't consider the the real threat posed. The reason I believe this is because even following the first World Trade Center attack in 1993 there was no great outcry from the people for action.

I am curious about your opinion, but this is not an open invitation to bash anyone.
