Well it seems you are the one un-informed because I didn't call the US the greatest place on earth, perhaps reading a question before answering will help you in the future.

#1 -get rid of bush
#2 - abolish ALL political parties; no more republicans, democrats, etc...
#3 - anyone running for any political office MUST at some point in their lives have held a REAL job so they know what it feels like when payday comes and the gov't has kept a large $$ for "taxes"
#4 - we start spending money on things needed HERE in the USA - not iraq, not lebanon, etc...
#5 - we bring our troops HOME. if we wanted a real reason to go over to iraq we would have been there 9/12/01, done our business, and left... not still be over there screwing off 5 years later.
#6 - people who VOTE must obtain a voting permit before they can cast their balot. by passing a written test that includes simple questions regarding past presidents, wars, state information ... etc... history repeats itself, so to avoid this, not all can vote... sorry!
#7 - I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST ANYONE WHO WANTS TO COME TO THIS COUNTRY FOR A BETTER LIFE BUT YOU DO IT LEGALLY, YOU GET A JOB, AND SUPPORT YOURSELF. IF YOU DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH THEN LEARN... YOU'LL MAKE MORE FRIENDS THAT WAY...
and until such things happen... america will continue being the big bully other countries hate and most americans are getting tired of.

Corporations should pay taxes, not none like many pay and still get a rebate!

Have the GAO monitor all contracts and charge those corporations that are stealing our money as the welfare frauds they are!

Stop the tax cuts and tax breaks for the rich!

Take back the Constitution and the 4th Amendment back!

Take back any authority a President might think he has to declare war!

Release ALL of the documents related to 9/11!

Cut off the money for Iraq!

Get rid of the 91 IQ, deserter, C- Yale grad who is alcoholic and can't even carry a sentence or think on the run!

Arrest and charge all employers who hire illegals!!

Give back the money the government stole from the widows of those who died in Iraq!

Rescind any cuts to the elderly, children, Medicare or cuts to the Veterans which have been made!

Raise minimum wage a little higher than the meager increase the were given!

There isn't anything wrong with America that can't be solved with a spirited, hotly contested election. The balance of power must be restored, and it will be when the Democrats gain control of at least one of the houses of Congress.

The Bush administration is a good example of what you end up with when you give a poor leader too much power and no real Congressional checks and balances. Fortunately, our system allows the people to correct their own mistakes every couple of years. That's what will happen in November. This will be the start of America's comeback.

Minimize government.

Lower our role in foreign affairs.

End all agricultural subsides. And all other government subsidies for that matter.

Let consenting adults do whatever they want with their own time and money as long as its not hurting anyone else. (legalize drugs, gay marriage, prostitution, etc.)

American people need to stop accepting the two party system and start voting for third parties. Don't vote for the lesser of two evils, vote for the cantidate you actually agree with.

A lot more too but this is a good start. And whatever is wrong with America there is still no where else in the world that I would rather live.

It needs to take two-thirds of any voting body (public referendum, legislature, council, etc.) to pass a bill into a new law, but only half of the voting body to repeal an existing law.

This way, 17% of the voting body would have to change their mind in order to change the law, and not just 1%.

We would have fewer and better laws which more people would respect.

The first thing that needs to happen is that George Bush has got to go. He is such a puppet of the jewish lobby that the US has become even more enslaved to Israel, and this enslavement is the main reason for the Iraq war: to provide Israeli security by eliminating the Scud missile threat. Now Armerican taxpayers are stuck with the mess, which will go on forever with no possible resolution.

The second thing that needs to happen is a redirection of the so-called War on Terror, which is causing more harm to the US that good. This is more a political tool of the Bush Administration, and one which is beginning to backfire very badly.

The third thing that has to happen is the Mexican border has got to be completely sealed off, and a nationwide campaign initiated to round up and deport all illegal Mexican immigrants and to levy very heavy fines against those in the US who hire (exploit) them.

The fourth thing is that the National Debt has got to be addressed and the pork barrel spending which runs rampant in Congress has got to be completely stopped, and the best way to start this process is to defeat every single Representative or Senator running for re-election.

Do these things and it will be a start to fix the damage done in the past almost 8 years.
