Does anyone know? The president and Rumsfeld criticize those who call for a withdrawal of our troops but if victory is defined as handing security over to the Iraqi military then that means pulling our troops out. Is it just a question of timing? Or do you think they define victory as stabilizing things enough so we can use Iraq as a staging area to go into Iran?

Because the Demoncrats took away my fingerpaints! Arrrgh! They spoil everything! They took away my Thorazine! They gave me herpes! They caused the San Francisco earthquake of 1906! They got peanut butter on my chocolate! They ruined my prom! They cancelled "Holmes & Yoyo"! They saved Hitler's brain! They promised us flying cars by the year 2000 and didn't deliver! They turned me into a newt! They sank the Titanic!

They did lots of other things! (I need help here, people)

Will the Republican governor sign the bill?
Will the bill, which won't take effect until a number of other states adopt direct election, start a flood of popular vote moves in other states?
Besides the constitutional aspects of the electoral college, how does indirect election benefit a democracy?
