Nader ran for President of the United States three times (1996, 2000, 2004). In 1996 and 2000 he was the nominee of the Green Party; Winona LaDuke was his vice-presidential running mate. In 2004 he ran as an independent with Green activist Peter Miguel Camejo as his vice-presidential nominee.

I think you're probably thinking of the 2000 election, when it was claimed that he contributed to Bush's win by draining off liberal votes from Democrat Gore. He was a Green Party candidate in that election.

EDIT: Oh wait, just read the question again. He was a write in candidate in the 1992 New Hampshire primary.

GOD! In what years DOESN'T that bozo run in every primary he can get his grubby hands on? Must be a glutton for punishment - he needs several hundred million people tell him that they want nothing to do with him every four years. Come to think of it... I think I dated someone like that once.
