I recently moved across the world (military). my dog stayed at my paretns house. My husband and I are wanting to fly him over here to live with us now that we have a house with a big yard. How stressful will the flight over be on him? Is it worth it? Money is not a factor here at all. I want my doggie here but not at the expense of his well being. Many people have their dogs from home here so I know it CAN be done, but do you think it is mean? The flight is so long-I do not want him to be scared!

I have a 3 month old cinnamon-cheeked conure who is an adorable little guy. He is a good bird other then the fact that he has become a little nippy sometimes. What is the best way to teach him not to do this anymore. Sometimes a stern tone telling him no and to be easy works, sometimes not. Any advice from experienced bird owners or breeders would be greatly appreciated.

My kitty is 4.5 years old & she has always been with me, if even to the exclusion of all other life forms. We have formed an incredibly close bond since I adopted her from the pound as a kitten.

But.. I've been practically living with my boyfriend for the past 2 months (50 miles away), much to the grief of my kitty.. & I've been depressed without her. I've brought her with me during the week, but she hates his house & his puppy & she seems sad- she keeps herself tucked away in his basement- she runs when she sees me down there. The (male) puppy likes her.. & she likes large male dogs, but..??

Otherwise, she loves my mother's house (where we lived together before) & she gets "some" attention there, but not like what I could give her. She's all over me if I happen to stay the night at home.. so I know she's not "punishing" me.

I really want her to live with me at the new place. But I hate to see her so sad there, too! :< I need a pet psychic!

I want to use Activated Carbon granules to help clean the water of my Aquarium. I have a submersible power filter which can take any media. The questions are
1. Is it safe to keep the carbon thing inside the aquarium inside some material in the first place.
2. What material should I use to enclose the activated carbon into and then put it in the power filter.
3. How often should I replace them?

He's a nine month old mixed breed, 30lbs. He's neutered. Not very well socialized - got him when he was 3 months old. When I walk him on the streets, he sometimes barks and lunges at people - especially men. He gets very afraid of noises in the street, so I think it's fear based aggression. He's cute, and looks at people curiously, so many people want to pet him, but when they come close - he barks and growls. He's okay with other dogs. I won't get rid of him, but I wish he would be a little friendlier towards strangers.

He constantly harrasses the head of my poor elderly cat, I sometimes get the feeling he thinks he is a cat! He sits on my window ledge with the cat when he is in calm mode.
