I promise you, I am not being a smart aleck. I never watch shows on TV. I watch news history channel you get the idea. I was going up and down because it is easier than just putting the number in. Anyway, I got to a channel I am certain it was a sit com from the 70s or 80s and there was this little girl maybe about 5 0r 6 answering a question that an adult asked and she was trying to look cute (at the directors demands I am sure). I do not even know what she said but there was a big laugh after she said what she said. Why do people write this crap and abuse children with this garbage? It is manufactured crap trying to make children look cute. Is this something a pedophile watches or is it just crap? Sorry I am not trying to offend.

Did anyone catch it...how did I miss it? I read the article, so I get the gist of it, but I am really curious about whether the news left it out...they kept saying it was coming up, but I never saw it.

I am in New York.

Some folks are calling this censorship:
"Yahoo! News is working on new ways for readers to comment on the news and participate in a discussion around it. While we work on our new community features, the message boards that have been linked from individual news articles will be taken offline Dec. 19.

As currently set up, the Yahoo! News message boards allow a small number of vocal users to dominate the discussion. In addition, related discussions from similar news articles are not easily linked. Over the next few months, we plan to offer new discussion forums based on topics in the news and incorporating the latest features to foster a better discussion for all of our readers. "

Al-Zarwaa is opperated by Al-Queda and Radical Islam...And gess what...Michael Moore's film Farenheit 911 is being shown several times a week, as are Democrats that sympathize with him. Do you still think that Liberals are on our side, now that it can be proven that terrorist groups love liberals and their propaganda????

I'm just reporting the facts. FACTS!!! FACTS!

I was scrolling through the Yahoo news photos of the Mt Hood rescue today. There has been an incredible amount of attention given to this story. What's next an Anderson Cooper hour dedicated to those moron skateboarder types who keep smashing their empty skulls onto the concrete?

I'm sorry but I'm not even sympathetic when I see the photos. What in the heck did these guys think they were doing? How can you look at the photos of Mt Hood and say to yourself "I just have to get to the top of that."

Fortunatly time heals all wounds and the family members will get over their loss. Hopefully this will at least be a lesson for any children in those families not to do dumb things.

If you haven't seen the movie "Good Night, And Good Luck", I suggest your do so. If you choose not to, then simply do some quick research via internet on Ed R. Murrow. After doing so, honestly ask yourself if broadcast journalism is better now or was it in Ed R. Murrow's day? When you decide, please leave your answer.
