World Trade Centers are found in almost every major city in the USA. They are office buildings with shops and food courts/restaurants. WTCs typically house many foreign govt. offices and foreign business. Since many of these foreigners also died in the 9-11 attack at the NYC WTC, and if (as the leftwing wackos say) this was a U.S. govt. conspiracy, then many of these foreign governments would have created a HUGE RUCKUS with our government.

The fact that there was no international crisis PROVES BEYOND A SHADOW OF DOUBT that even the foreign govts understand this was an Al Qaeda job. That is why more than 75 different nations ended up with us in Afghanistan and Iraq.

All those conspiracy wacked jobs who blame WTC on the U.S. govt should get castrated and whipped for being absolute morons, and wasting everybody's time.

DOH trade, its in the name...

A world trade center puts together under one roof all the services associated with global commerce, I suppose you could view it as a kind of supermarket or shopping mall providing networking access between corporations and governments.

The World Trade Centers Association founded in 1970 and based in New York City, is an organization of nearly 300 world trade centers in almost 100 countries. The WTCA is an unofficial umbrella trade association that unites corporations and government agencies in international trade.

While i am sure the WTC had food areas and some nursery care, the big factor was it had a marvelous view, was extremely well known, and held some of the most important money businesses and National Offices for non-U.S. countries.

it was one huge comlex with offices, shopping, etc----and a mighty big target----Personally I never understood the point of tall buildings----I also don't understand why BUSH won't give the go-ahead on the memorial. I think he has forgotten the innocents that were murdered by the misguided. They have been reduced to political pawns by this administration.

It had many businesses, banking, and both U.S. and non-U.S. government offices in it. It was called the "World" trade center because of the many nations that had offices there.
