I'm tired of the media manipulating this country. The extremists are given a forum while people with moderate views can't be heard above their one-sided hysterics. The media has turned the United States into a land of the "red" and the "blue". Before the advent of 24 hour news stations, this nation was far more united. The moguls are laughing all the way to the bank, and force-feeding their agendas as they go.

The New York times is being hounded by the conservative corporate media at the orders of Dick "5 deferments" Cheney and George "Special national guard appointment" W.Bush.

The Times re-revealed (repeated) information which a few years ago dripped from the lips of Bush and Treasury Secretary Snow in their orwellian news conferences. Bush stood in front of the camera and told America how we are financially tracking "terrorists assets" and Snow went on to elaborate.

Should Bush and Snow be Prosecuted for Hurting the "War own Terra"?

Even in our 24/7, 500 channel universe, lots of important stories never show up in the mainstream press - or they do show up only to be quickly pushed aside by the media obsession du jour (including runaway brides and celebrity trials). What news story from the past year do you feel didn’t get enough attention from the press - and why do you think it didn’t?

I've recently gone back to school (junior college for now, until I get my grades up), and I'm writing for the school paper (they've actually made me the editor starting in the fall).

I'm transferring to a four year school in about a year. After school, what is the best way to go about getting a good job in journalism (print journalism, preferrably.)?

I've notice that many of the well detailed news reports or documentaries for that matter about an African country, Asia or the Middle East seem to be reported or told by British reporters. I've always wondered why. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the British Empire or colonialism. Its just a question I had in mind.

Anyone else noticed?

J.K. Rowling, Author of the famous Harry Pottor books is planning to have Harry Pottor killed in the last book. For all you harry pottor fans, and people who have connections, we need to discourage this act. For how would the story go on? How would we know what is going to happen? With all the work and bravery that has happen through the years in the Harry Pottor world, how can this be? What about the profecy? "Neither can live while the other survives"? The NY Times now has twice reveled to the people who would kill us all, the Top Secret methods we use to track and catch terrorist. The Government begged them to not print this information yet in their zeal to attack Bush (the real enemy) they used their first ammendment rights to tell the terrorists how we catch them.
