Star Jones announced on the View Tuesday Morning that she would not be back for the 10th season of the View... it later came out that they did not renew her contract for next year..... I feel so terrible for her because she was one of the original ladies on the show. They still have Elisabeth on & she was not even an original member. Star did go through some life changing moments in her life, a weight loss of over 100 lbs, a huge celebrity wedding. Rosie O'Donell went public saying she thinks Star should tell people how she lost all of her weight, but in my opinion- Star is a grown woman, noone has the right to get angry simply because Star does not wish to reveal exactly how she lost her weight, & for Rosie to make fun of that & blast Star in the media is very tacky & unproffessional. For the View to ask her to co host is a direct hit at Star and I now understand why Star feals hurt & she feels she was fired. I will no longer watch the view at all.

Besides reading the books that you have excerpted in your articles among Share the World's Resources site, what is the best way to stay informed. I just heard that there is some disturbance going on in the Gaza Strip....... what happened? What news agency, or blog site, or web site can give me the most reliable (truthful) coverage on such events?

everyday, people buy magazines with the intent of reading on the lives of celebrities. reading on their lives, judging them, making comments about them, or even hating them--hating people they don't even know. i have read magazines, and i know it is interesting, but we see the tears and pleas of celebrities asking the media to please leave them alone. and isn't the things celebrities do stuff we do at one point in our lives? hasn't everyone got annoyed with a friend? some people go into drug rehab? i would say 99% of babies have been dropped by parents. normal people cheat on their spouses or boyfriends. stuff that celebrities do is what normal people do too, but when they do it, they not only get commented by their family and friends but by practically the whole world. and how do we know that the stories on magazines are even true? should celebrities live lives without thinking that people are gossiping about them everyday? don't you think its time to stop judging celebrities?

If you could sit down and talk frankly with a journalist ( you being truthful and the journalist willing to listen and properly assess your comment ) what would be the most important critically constructive suggestion you could give.

Please remember this is Constructive criticism.

Please eliminate any story that is slanted to produce readership by emotional response as its sole purpose ( selling print and making money, fame, etc by provocative emotional title and/or content ). I would like to see some real rational journalism.

If you would be so kind as to include a reference, preferably a link, I would like to read it. Thanks.
