Many, but by no means all. There are many fine public servants involved in serving their country and community. One excellent example is Senator Joseph Isidore Lieberman of Connecticut- a man of conscience and integrity. Should he be defeated in the Augusy 4 primary for being a man of principle, it will refelct negatively on the far left more than on this "Profile in Courage."

Sadly, this has been the case forever. Term limits would calm down the infighting considerably. The problem is that there are too many career politicians. Once they're in for a few decades, they have too much power, and nothing gets done without their approval. Since there are such politicians on both sides pounding on their chests and demanding to be respected, very little gets done.

Politicians, for the most part, are nothing more than a bunch of self-serving babyboomers. Regardless of their political affliation most of these ******* care about nothing more than lining their pockets and staying in power. Its really the reason for the collapse of the country, and the world for that matter. Aside from the U.S. and Australia, everyone else depends on the U.N., which is no better. Its all a bunch of crap. They'll learn when the next revolution takes place.

With them being influenced by special interest groups and lining their pockets with the green stuff, the answer is yes. They only care about themselves. It won't be long before it all comes back to haunt them. We, as voters, have to hold them to a higher standard. If they get out of line, they're in big trouble and we'll have the power of the ballot box to send them packing!

Yes, They don't have to worry what you will think because your not going to vote them out of office.
If their constituents don't care why should he? So long as the majority of people are not voting why should they worry about them.
They will take care of those who vote. The lobbyist, the rich, and others who line their pockets. Because those people will vote and get you out of office.
The voice of America is not heard because the majority are afraid of the minority who actually run this country.
The majority have been divided and conqured and we shall reap the rewards of our own doing.
