If the majority of the American people are skeptical at best. public opinion and local politics will force the outcome. Question is how much longer until the administration admits our Iraq policy is at a dead end ?

Should we be giving air time to someone who appears to have slatted the people who risked their lives to rescue him. Also, wasn't he the one who went out there with the underlying purpose to get kidnapped in the first place?

If the U.S is such an advanced, forward thinking, great country, why are three innocent men still in prison and one of them, Damien Echols, on death row for a crime he did not comit. Why are they being denied access to free DNA testing tp prove their innocence. Surely it's the right of every American citizen to use every means at his countrys disposal to prove his innocence. Innocent until proven guilty??

I am very disturbed at America today. Please read my article at http://www.wen2k.com/tell.php?Id=1095 It explains what I feel and why I feel we need to step up and save our Troops as well as ourselves. I hope people have an openmind when reading this article. I hope the countries of the world read this article and consider helping themselves as well as us, their fellow human-beings. The article is at wen2k.com if the http, gets cut off it is #1095. Thanks again Herbert West III Disabled/Paramedic Journalist. west.herb@yahoo.com

Today in the News paper a Somali asylum seeker convicted of a rape of a child (AND GOT ONLY 3 YEARS INSIDE )was then paid £50,000 in compensation because we kept him in custody
whilst awaiting attempts to deport him HE never complained and did not want to leave the UK because he liked PRISON compared to Somalia.

YET AS WORKING TAX PAYERS WE GET TAXED IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY.

It seems as though many people who hear about the threat of global warming laugh it off, complaining that evironmentalists are the new hippies of tomorrow. Well, then im a new hippie of tomorrow because, unlike many, i am neither ignorant nor myopic.
In the US our society is fast paced and full of short attention spans, however, nature is not and will never be like this and the process of global warming has been gradual. Just look at The Day After Tomorrow. Hollywood found a way to market global warming in putting all of the worst case scenarios and cramming them in weeks. It obviously does not happen like this which is why our society and its short attention span would rather read People than protect the very place that those same People require to live.

So i guess my question would be: What do you think about this obvious problem? and if you do not think this is a threat, why?
