According to the Republicans the war is important because they care about people. Anyone that knows Republicans knows that is a joke. The Republicans don't care about anything but money and power. That is why they had to come up with the "weapons of mass destruction" lies. Nobody in their right mind would think a Republican would do something for somebody.
The war in Iraq is important now to the Republicans because when the war is over their crime spree is over.

1) The Iraqi Government, Economy, and Military are still recovering from the Gulf War II. They're still weak. It generally takes at least 10-20 years of retraining and support to recover.
2) The US and coalition troops died to protect the Iraqi nation until they are strong enough to protect themselves. Will you let the remaining abandon the fallen heroes' efforts and make their deaths in vain?
3) Leaving will make Iraq vulnerable to all attacks and will cause further imbalances in the already fragile Middle East. Here's what another political leader said about the issue:

"But if the U.S. were to leave and abandon Iraq without establishing the grounds for a united and sovereign country, that would definitely be a second mistake."

Russian President Vladimir Putin,
After saying the US shouldn't have gone into Iraq in the first place.

4) Good things are hapening in Iraq. They're just not getting published because it is the bad news that sells.
5) Sure it is messy now, but how would Uncle Sam like to be remembered in the Middle Eastern history books? As someone trying to do good, make a mistake, and tried to right his wrongs dispite the opposition or as a mistaken individual that was a bully and a coward, weak and ran at the fist chance? Make the best of the situation, whether it is currently good or bad.
6) My nation was conquered by the US and later given independence. Sure we revolted in the early years of the occupation, but we were treated well and grew to love our occupiers. Now, the US forever has an ally in Asia. Woudn't the US like that to happen to the Middle East, too?

The U.S needs oil and Iraq is giving it free oil so then why should the troops get out of Iraq. In my opinion the U.S troops will be stationed in the middle east for at least one century and then by that time only Americans will enjoy the luxury of oil

USA has been on War for fighting with communism. It is a part of their global policy. However attack on Iraq was a mistake. To pull out at this stage without making proper arrangement of the security of Iraqi people will be blunder.

Bush administration thought it could create democracy and economic liberalism there.

They even tough this would do a snow ball effect and creat democracy and economic liberalism in the whole middle-est.

They taught Iraqis would surrender and behave as smoothly as the Japanese did after WWII

Big mistake
