Terrorist, what are there purpose?

Terrorist have a vast source of income to finance its operation, so the question who funds this terrorist group and what do they expect in return.

Is it more logical to say, "TERRORIST AS A MARKETING TOOL"

Religion! Many arabs want one thing and one thing alone! JERUSALEM! they can't have it! Of course, in Armageddon, armies will march in, once again, to try and take it! But, thats when the fury of GOD will finalize! Lets say the Saudi's are funding terrosism. WHats the purpose? To throw off the west and allow these armies to march eastward into Israel. The saudis have close to 1 trillion dollars invested in the US. If they retract that money, it would cause a major problem. Oil is the tool! Jerusalem is the prize!

I would agree with you that terrorists are, however indirectly and unintentionally, a marketing tool for fascoislamic governments. These very governments are funding terrorist groups, as you so astutely mention. . . so what the governments who fund them get out of it, is the promise of increased political power as terrorists wreak havoc around the world. An unstable country amidst violence falls more easily to a coup (think of Islamofascism's rise in Iran, Lebonan, Iraq, etc.) - terrorists go in and pave the way, spreading fear, confusion and unrest in a population, so when the oppressive government that is fundamental Islam comes to take over, they welcome it. At least it offers some stability.

Unfortunately it also steals all their freedoms. They are alive...but in a prison called Sharia (Islamic Law).

of course it is!!...people ALL people are after one thing its POWER and for which they use many tools ...such as.religion, fears and politics..' ..so terrorist groups are actually formed by people who cannot achieve any real power through legal means so they have to adopt bad illegal ways which effect other people ..innocent people in bad ways to get what they want...which is power!! so nothing is really done in the name of religion or anything else....its all about envy and greed..!!
