If the UK stopped ALL CO2 emissions it would make absolutely no difference because our contribution is way, way down the list well behind the US, China, India, Malasia, former soviet bloc countries and many more - it's all on the net, so see for yourself! It's just a scam to line the pockets of the 'alternative/sustainable energy' merchants and to extract more in taxation for the government to waste on useless military junk and futile petty middle east conflicts! Most CO2 is absorbed by the oceans or forests - so those who are worried should plant a few trees!

A report just released by the US committee for human rights in north korea finally put into words what everyone already knew but chose to ignore; The dictatorship that is the workers party is guilty of crimes against humanity. Evidence has been gathered, and concluded that the people of north korea are suffering from the cruel suppression, and inhumane treatment of a fanatical regime that has chosen to isolate itself from the world. We now know that there are prison camps where people are tortured and killed on a daily basis. We know that all expression of free speech and practicing of religion is forbidden, We have heard about their draconian practices. Is it now time to act, to free the innocents from this hell on earth? Do we have a right to? What action could/should we put in place given the tense nuclear environment which has developed recently? We went into iraq quickly enough to free them, what about this time?

The Bushit administration is suddenly dropping its broken record “stay the course” speal, proclaiming that it is all about “flexibility” on Iraq, according to the sellout White House press secretary Tony Snowjob.

“It left the wrong impression about what was going on,” Snowjob said.
( imagine that... those 3 words actually meant something else... LOL)

Now, many major media political commentators have found their testicles and career plans and characterized the Bush administration moves as a crass pre-election effort to seem to be doing something new on Iraq without making any real policy change, while also shifting blame to the Iraqi government.

The New York Times called it “stage-managing” a “supposed change of heart” by a president “worried that his party could lose some of its iron grip on power in the congressional elections next week.”

Meanwhile: monthly U.S troop deaths in Iraq rose, with the October toll at 91 so far, a mere fraction of the civilians death toll.

It's only a matter of time before America is hit again with a terror attack. Because of the rise in terror incidents in other nations, Americans must not think that we will not be hit again. However, our attitudes must be that of vigilance and strength as we come together and realize just who we are fighting. We are fighting individuals who have a mentality to gleefully behead innocents. Such is the case of two American soldiers, Kristian Menchaca and Thomas Tucker, who were brutally murdered, their bodies desecrated after being taken hostage by a group associated with Al-Qaeda in Iraq. Americans should see, over and over, what terrorists are capable of doing. Americans are in a serious fight, and we are not to sit back and think all is well.

live in Hawaii and last night Sat. Oct 28 I had a dream that I was standing outside this airport and saw a pasenger plane take off it was white, blue and a reddish orange, but i did not recoginse the carrier. This plane right after take off vered to the left with a hard bank, then this plane veered off to the right sharply with a hard bank. Then it crashed, it seem that the back of the plane hit before the the front half. The crash was right next to the airport and I could see inside the plane as it had no covering around it, i was helping people out, but there were not to many people. I noticed in the back ground a Large rock type hill, as I was trying to help people i faded out and woke up. I woke up at about 7 am Hawaii time. That Nigeria plane that crashed this morning was blue, white, and redish orange. It crashed this morning in Abuja City, and this city is surrounded by the large rock hills that I saw in my dream last night (look it up). What happened, was I really there?

The majority of the counties in the world have peace treaties, and aren't at war. Why is it, that countries such as Iran and North Korea feel the need to develop nuclear bombs, when there is no threat posed to them from anyone else?
I understand that having nuclear bombs is a form of defence: a last resort to wipe out another nation before they wipe you out. But if in this day and age no country poses the threat of nuclear action or war against your own country, why is there a need to go nuclear?
It is my belief that North Korea and Iran could well be threatening the very delicate stability of the world with their actions, which is unnecessary.
Are their actions purely to be up to scratch with the rest of the world, or do their actions have a sinister reason to them?
Are their actions to improve defence, or add another element to a possible attack?
What are your thoughts on this serious matter?

I am interested to know the views of the people here.
FACT: Iran is going nuclear.
FACT: Iran are supporters of terrorism.
FACT: Iran has promised to wipe Israel of the face of the earth.
VERY PROBABLE: Iran would like to develop nuclear weapons of some kind.
What should we do?

Wait for them to develop nuclear weapons, then attack or UN?

Wait for them to attack Israel, then attack or UN?

Wait for a nuclear device to go off by terrorists in either Israel, London or New York, then attack or UN?

My question really is what is the level of risk we are prepared to accept and when and how should we respond?

My own view is that we should act sooner rather than later and if the UN can not handle it, we do the job ourselves.
