Israel needs to make peace with the Palestinians and its Arab neighbors or it will be wiped out in few years. If you think they did not lose you must be blind.
2 of there ships were hit. They could not fly there helicopters cause at the beginning of the war 4 went down and they had to go in without helicopter support.
40 Merkava tanks the best in the world, were destroyed in one day, 160 tanks destroyed the whole war. Over 900 wounded soldiers, 180 killed.
The only reason Hezbollah was willing to stop because the Israeli es were getting desperate, so they started attacking civilians. Even the Israeli army and the people admitted defeat.
First Israel said we want the soldiers no negotiation, and destroy Hezbollah. Then it was to get rid of Hezbollah then it was to push Hezbollah back behind the river letani at the end they were just happy to go out of there alive with a little face.
It just shows the power of the people over the machine.
Hezbollah won fair and square.

Isreal can not survive on its own. It is afact that Isreal ocuppied Lebanon for 20+ year. Hezbullah militians pushed Isreal out.Hezbullah makes up a big part of Lebanon goverment. They also have social services and have built over 100 hospitals and over 50 schools. There militia has helped the Lebanon military forces with the secreity of the country. Lebanons goverment can not self estain with out Hezbullah who totally rebuild Lebanon before this happened and now rebuild again. I don't see U.N. dollars used for it not even Isreally dollars... Isreally Military is made up of american military equipment... Many christains and most of the United States goverment feels if we turn our backs to Isreal that we would be turning our backs on god... I also feel they will be a war fought on American soil or another cival war in the next 10 years the way are broken goverment is going..

The only weakness I see is that Israel further isolated itself, if it was possible, inside the middle east. People are finding out that they may not be able to take out true military powers like the US or Israel face-face but can inflict enough small wounds and hopefully bleed them out. But they will pervail they have done it over thousands of years and will continue to do so. But of course there's Ahmadinejad.

After that was Isreal will not have any weaknesses. They have a nack of correcting mistakes. Thay are a powerful country. They spare no expense on the military
