because he is getting rich of you guys and they sometimes contradict by saying live a simple life and that is something that they are not doing. It doesnt seem right to be getting rich of the what they like to call "the lords work" I went to dinner one time and in the parking lot I seen those Chryslers that look like a bently all black with dark tinted windows and black rims just decked out you would think it belonged to a celebrity and the licesnce plate said Deacon and I just thought it was ridiculous

Where I go preacher dont get paid for the special workers we pay all there bills through donation and they get a monthly allowance but they mostly live off of there retirement because they are usually around that age or if they are young it is someone who owned there own business and sold it but they have there own money there cars are leased not all decked out and they have it for as long as they live there and we build like and apartment in the back for them to live but they live a simple life and these preachers dont and I dont like that

They shouldn't live in such extravagance but no , they shouldn't live like they are poor either. Just moderately.

If they have an excess of money, they should help people in need . I've seen homes of ' some of the ministers' online and it makes your eyes bug out at such mansions in some cases.

of he should be paid well if he provides a good service but most pple think that they are spending government money whilst poor pple dont even have anything to eat that is wrong because he worked hard for the money and deserves what he receives

well paid isn't a part of your religious calling... religion has become big business instead of the love for your brother man.... why would a man of God need 3 cars just for him.... will a thousand dollar suit make us listen or learn better.... I am not saying take a vow of low or no income .... but rich.... why...

If a minister is supposed to be the representative of his god, how rich was his god when he was said to be on this earth? Does he truly represent him if he is materially rich?

I think they should live well enough to take care of their families and to live a relatively comfortable life.

I think it is so very wrong if they're financially rich. If they wanted to be financially rich they should have chosen a different profession.

I think that religion is getting rich off of ignorant and trusting people. But then, I'm an athiest and don't even believe in god.

If you do believe the bible, then follow Jesus' example - was he rich?

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

i think it is because churches do not have to pay taxes. and apparently "jesus" wasnt rich, so neither should ministers and priests and pastors and whatnot.
