I find it amazing that with the concern for security here in the states, the government wants to allow 15,000 students from middle eastern states in to the country .. do they really believe that these individuals won't disappear if they have other plans?

People in Belgium get three different color trash bags and one is for glass, one is for paper, and one is for actual trash? They get a fine if they don't use them properly. Shouldn't we do this?

If they returned this Land back to Lebanon and Syria maybe they would be allowed to LIVE IN PEACE.At the moment Israel is the invading Country!!!Hezbollah and Syria are right to try and get back their Land.What would Tony Blair do if France or any other Country invaded Dover and occupied it,or say Mexico or Canada was occupying US territory what would G.Bush do accept it?

Is it me or is English getting worse?
I notice that around 95% of questions asked here contain terrible English and sentence structure using the wrong tense and spelling.

Example below:

If you watched the care bears cartoon, what was the proper words to the theme tune?

I think they meant "What were the proper words..."

People spell off when they mean of, to when they mean too.

I can imagine a few mistakes, but take a look at the questions and answers, you can find a mistake in most of them.

I recieved an e-mail from a website called "Australian lottery" telling me that that I won a prize of a big amount of money ..
Then a bank called "united bank of Africa" sent me e-mails telling me that my prize is their and I must go their to reliease it ..

After all this terrorism stuff with carry on everyday equipment i got to thinking. Ever see those videos where they put mentos in diet coke and it basically explodes. If someone poured a few bottles of diet coke down an airplane toilet then dropped in a few packs of mentos could the resulting pressure cause problems or would it just overflow the toilet? I know airplanes have the ability to dump their waste, but they dont do it evey time you flush.

Why do you suppose that, after months of surveillance, the British government moved against these "terrorists" exactly 65 days before the U.S. Congressional elections? The suspects hadn't even purchased their airline tickets, nor any coherent plan formulated. What was the rush? Doubtful if the prosecution will have enough evidence to hold up in court. Of course, by then, the elections will be history. Is this too cynical an observation?

I watch the weather to see what is going to happen. They will predict one thing and within an hour they have changed their minds and now say something else!!!

Is this the only job in the world where they pay you for getting things wrong? They have all this Dopplar radar and other tools yet they still seem to mess it up.

So what gives? I do understand that weather can and does change, but not this fast.

Bush is absolutely mentally retarded. There can't be two opinions about this. His CT scan showed "Left brain nothing right in it and right brain : Nothing left in it". Now whose fault is this?
