No, I was not before and I have no intention of it happening now!
I will not generalise, I know that like the Christians in this world, there are a lot of Muslims who are quite happy with their lives, bringing up their children, and helping to build a better world.
I know that due to a minority, this whole this could snowball into a total huge avalanche, I just cant see how you can blame every snowflake, when each one is an individual? Well done to our boys in Blue I say, for their difficult work so far, how can you spot a terrorist, most are English educated second generation Muslims! Sadly I think brainwashed by evil radical minorities. Imprison all Muslims?
That would empty half of En glands Hospitals specialists for a start! All much to depressing wish I knew what the answer was?!?

I would like to believe I'm not more racist altho I do tend to stereotype more now. I justify my feelings b/c of who (or the types of ppl) I see getting caught doing the "bad" things. Knowing full-well there is good and bad in ALL people is vexing enough! Racism - or stereotyping - becomes a tool I use to bolster, or shield, my emotion or intuition which, unfortunately, colors my choices.
Now I know this comment is off topic but I feel compelled to say; I read the other answers and I have to mention that Terrorism is NOT a fad word! It does exist and it hurts everyone it touches. From the soldier called to fight it and the soldier fighting for the cause, to each and every family member or friend - on both sides! It does not matter if you're on the front line, the supply line, or the side line! It IS real.
Getting rid of religion is also not the answer, since fighting will carry on under some other name or guise. It may actually be about real estate, resources, or just plain power and subjugation.
These things are all very complex and difficult to address.

No I am not racist, however I think that you shouldn’t start to be racist, I think it's wrong that people should be racist because some person has decided to f*ck it with the society they lived in and kill themselves and because of that people judge people because they are of the same religion, how is racism meant to solve these problems. This is what those motherfucker’s want, terrorism is also psychology, when an attack happens, they want the people to suffer through death and pain and they want to scare and confuse people and they want to bring down the economy of the country. One way to solve this is to stick together; we cannot let the terrorist win by showing our fears, we cannot segregate people because of the color of the skin or because of a religion. Racism shows ignorance. Racism solves nothing; it will only make things worse.

No i'm just becoming racist to blacks because almost every rape, shooting and stabbing i hear about (in England) is almost always committed by a black.
I have given them enough chances, so now i am a racist.
If a white person is walking towards me in the street, i seldom get anxious. If its a big nigg*r, i get anxious, thinking the black c*nt is either gonna mug me, beat me or worse.
Maybe we have a racist media, or maybe becasue the negros think they are being persecuted all the time - which they arent - that they have to go out and do things in defiance of this 'ghost' system.

Yes unfortunately.
I am fearful of Muslims. Only a tiny fraction of the Muslim religion's followers are terrorists but almost all terrorists are Muslim. It took only 19 people to commit the 9/11 atrocities. Also the greater Muslim community seems to have its head in the sand. They disavow all Muslim terrorists that are cought, & do little more. I am really afraid of them and I'd like to see Muslim immigration to North America sharply curtailed. Is that racist? Probably: but my family's safety is more important than being nice. It would be good if the governments bought Muslim American and Canadian citizenship and then escorted them out of the country. It's worth the price.

For every Timothy McVeigh I can name 100 Muslim terrorists. There is some evidence that he got support & $ from Iran.

There's a difference between racism and being biased. Any country can breed a racist. It's not reserved only for Muslim Arabs to be one. Besides, racism deals with race not nationality.
Timothy McVie was a terrorist. And what about the terrorists a few years back in Japan? They detonated some kind of poison into the subway system. They were neither Arab nor Muslim.
I think you get my drift.

No. I am no more racist now that I was before terrorism became such a fad word.
I think we have "racist" views based upon the actions of the few that we see, and our minds are comfortable with that. I think the really bad examples of an ethnic, cultural or religious group tend to make a bigger impression on us than the ones we don't interact with.
Also, in the US, it has become so un-PC to speak how you really feel.

hi I'm open minded person and try to use empathy and compassion when I'm debating something . But after researching the history of Lebanon /Israeli conflict Ive found so much injustice towards the Lebanese Palestine's that Ive found myself hating the Jews and having real feelings of anger towards the whole of Israel. It really isn't like me to do this but the level of injustice Ive discovered is staggerring and coming from a land where Jesus was born and died you'd think there would be more compassion in there hearts than what they are showing. Quite apart from the Israelis having no heart for this world i believe they are just a pawn in a game played out by the Americans who have issues with Iran. Feelings of hate in my heart for the immoral behaviour of the Americans too. Its not a good feeling to live with.

I hope I'm not, as you say it is more difficult not to be. More people becoming racist, or rather anti-Muslim, is exactly what the terrorists want. They want to start a religious/race war as part of a strategy to to achieve their aims. Its ironic that some people on the far-right, who are self-proclaimed racists and anti-Muslim, want to do exactly the same thing.

I would't say I'm becoming a racist, but I am becoming more aware when I come into contact with an Asian person. I think paranoia is setting in, because it does cross my mind when i look at them if they actually could be a terrorist..Terrible I know but what can I say?
