The government are giving local councils £30 million, so they can employ thousands of staff to catch people having a cigarette when the smoking ban in public places comes into force in July!!There is going to be COVERT operations in pubs, clubs, restaurants, etc, etc, etc.I'm sure there are hundreds of other worthwhile causes this money could be going on. Is it just me, or are we ALL going barmy?

Do you think the "survivors staircase" should be kept in place exactly where it is? Should it be moved to a memorial plaza? Should we just destroy it? Give some detailed opinions please.

What is with the accusations now of Iran supplying insurgent fighters in Iraq. Seems like Bush is pushing this idea pretty hard in past couple of days. What do you think?

Under the law the president can't single handedly let foreigners into the country without a vote in congress which is what he is trying to do. Of these 7,000 Iraqis no one knows who they are or if any number of them could be terrorist jihadists from Al Queda or other type of splinter group.

Also the law clearly states that people from any country that doesn't allow criminals back into their country (as Iraq does) can not be given visas into America, period. When Condoleeza Rice was asked about this law, she simply stated "Iraqis have enough problems" and she was very dismissive as if the law doesn't matter at all.

I don't know anyone who wants to let more terrorists into this country. And they plan on letting even more in. I'm wondering if the President has lost his sense of connection with the American people altogether.

We do people always protest after its too late. Why can't we exert pressure on dictatorial regimes before then present us iminent threat? If we would have, as a nation, refused to buy OPEC and middle eastern oil then Iraq would not have been suspected of using money to buy uranium. we could have avoided war. Why can't people stop complaining so much about our prolonged current military campaign, and exert energy trying to prevent another one? WHY CAN'T WE STOP IRAN?
