I have to agree with you there. Police say there number of gun crimes is coming down. Think they need to turn thier graph the other way round.

I read about murders in the paper every day and more are becoming gun related or at least weopen related. Police nowadays need to be more stern about what thier dealing with. Lets shoot these criminals rather than put them in jail and let them out after 20 years

I agree the glamourisation of gun culture has finally taken over common sense in the UK. School boys being shot in their homes is a terrible thing.

UK cops should carry guns or at the very least we should have a large number of specialist armed units located all over the country ready to go at a moments notice.

If the police don't do something quick they will find themselves out numbered and outgunned.

It's inevitable we will follow the states. This is the way we are headed no doubt what so ever. But like everything else we do here, there will have to be a lot more pain and suffering before a change!!

These kids were all black what are the people in their comunities doing.I don't think arming the police would have made any difference in these cases but I bet the two words disrespect and drugs have some thing to do with it.

I agree with every word you have written, but you know what this country is like, even if a policeman was cornered and it was self defence someone would mouth off and there would be a big hue and cry, there's too many do gooders in this country, always someone to put a spoke in
