Is the number of people Suddam Hussein killed in any way comparable to the number of people who were killed (soldiers, civillians) to have him executed?

and yes he deserved it. but execution is disgusting regardless, does anyone agree that a sound penal system could have spared us from this barbarity.

i hated Sadam Hussain and all the oppresion he stood for, but surley the subbject that gives us the higher ground (if any) is that in the west we preach non barbarity.....punish him in the cells and show him his crimes.........cold blooded killings are wrong

YOU'RE A SICKO! WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO SEE SOMEONE DIE LIKE THAT? NO MATTER WHO IT IS, IT'S SICKENING.

Instead of telling us all how wrong we are to be glad that an evil dictator who tortured and killed his own people is no longer able to hurt anyone else...

Why aren't you focusing on the true outrages in this world like those we are awaiting their fate and will be stoned to death?

There are women in Iranian prisons waiting to be stoned to death. One in particular was just 17 when she was stabbed and killed the man who stabbed her in self defense as he was attempting to rape her 14 year old neice. http://www.myspace.com/savenazanin

How can you be outraged about Saddam and yet so ill informed on so many of the autrocities committed around the globe. Saddam's death was swift and quick in compairison.

Everyone is quick to point fingers at violent Americans while turning a blind eye to the violence of others around the world?

Why is that?

Osama did attack the U.S., and even though he didnt kill as much people as Saddam, he still killed many people that were innocent Americans. Bush put to much attention on Saddam and forgot about Osama when he is having fun laughing at Saddam and that we can't find hiself.
