Politically and economically wise, will Saddam's hanging bring a major change in the middle east?

Most likely it will only escalate the sectarian violence that Iraqis are currently experiencing. But Iraqis will also feel a sense that justice was served. So maybe they will take their country to greater heights. After all, we cannot do it for them...it is totally up to them to make their country great.

No, Killing a dictator will not make things better because it’s only a distraction form all the other problems going on in Iraq, like the unemployment, secretarian violence aka civil war, and that’s not going to help at all. Right now it seems like the power struggle will just continue after his death....

Then again, Saddam's death could spark some sort of introspective reflection revolution in Iraq. Maybe the fighters will realize how detrimental it is to cause destruction and chaos. His death is like the closing of a chapter in Iraq and people are likely to feel better after his death. Maybe if the Iraq government can get its act together and rally the moderate Sunnis and Shiites together something will be done.
Something will happen because of his death, it could be big or small, but we probably won't be able to tell until the future comes.

Saddam's removal from power has already made big changes for the better economically and politically in Iraq. If his death makes any changes, I hope they are mostly positive.

i think of it gets even worse. Bush's purpose is to get to center East and alter it totally. for this reason it won't basically replace Iraq's regime dramatically, yet in addition human beings will react to each thing "intruders" do.

No, although there is much celebrating in my parents' home country. Also in Dearborn, Michigan. He has been captured for, HOW LONG? Without him, nothing has happened, except for innocent iraqis keeping their lives, which, last time i checked, was a very good thing. NOTHING WILL CHANGE 'CEPT GOOD THINGS HAPPENING
hopefully.
