I have been watching the news lately and all Bush ever says is that we can't leave Iraq. I think he continues to tell us to stay without giving us enough reason to.
Do you think it could have anything to do with the fact he has focused his presidency on "the war on terrorism" that admiting he was wrong would mean that his whole administration failed? He was so focused on that and other stupid things (no child left behind, patriot act, etc.) that other important things like health care and immigration reforms were never given enough attention.
I'm not ranting on what a horrible president he is, I'm sure it's difficult to be in his shoes.
