I'm afraid so. There is a faction which wants to bring down western civilization, and they are probably not going away any time soon.

It is always this way. The problem is not the unrest, the problem is that everyone has been trying to wage peace for the sake of political stability. Things have changed, power shifted. Real peace is only achieved after disputes have been settled or people have grown tired of killing and being killed.
There will be a great conflict. Don't be afraid.
