CNN did a "story" about our town lately. They were totally biased about it and only showed the interviews that supported the story they wanted to tell. I will NEVEr watch their news again!
Are they all like that? I've heard Fox news is less biased?

Should the Durham DA be charged with malicious prosecution, the accuser with filing a false charge and what will be done to repair the shattered lives of those students. I hope they are able to file civil charges against the DA as well. Finally, what about all the activists who have poisoned the once friendly and peaceful atmosphere in Durham? I wonder if we will hear any apologies from Jackson and Sharpton when this is all over? I am guessing no. PS. I once lived in Durham and prior to this case, there was very good racial harmony which has also been shattered.

For all the burning hatred that pudits have twoard Mel Gibson's comments, almost no one seems to care that he was driving a car even though he was so drunk he could barely stand. If Mel had hit someone non-Jewish, would people be as mad at him as they are now? Definately not...

The problem in Iraq has now reached such an intractible level that the whole of US (iovernment, media, think tank and free speechers) are scratching their heads with no agreeable solution to talk about. The violence has reached unimaginable level and no one knows what would be the best way out. We are in a catch 22 situation. If we leave, then it has every likelihood of erupting further with neighboring countries becoming more involved with arms and money to either side. If we dont leave, then the anger and frustration among the Iraqis continue to boil further. But my point is the situation seems so similar to what is happening in places like Sudan, Somalia and some parts of Africa where the neighboring countries get involveds for their own interest to make the matter worse. Its seems to be becoming a problem with no end in sight.
Do you agree to this analogy?

The result of all that is ofcourse mass killing, ethnic cleansing, sectarian violence, refugee problem and even Genocide

Kitty Kelley is writing another trashy biography, this time about Oprah. I am disgusted by this, and I will boycott the publishers Random House. I am tired of publishers selling tabloid trash to their readers. I admire Oprah, and I see no reason to buy a book like this.

Normally with such a high-profile case the police are pretty speedy on catching the guilty man.. but this one is proving very elusive so far.

You would think there would be a fair few people with information on him? The local police are surely putting the majority of their efforts into this.

There has been lots of media coverage but i get the feeling the public don't seem to care quite as much because the were prostitutes.

If you look at the photo of the first one killed Gemma Adams she looks such a sweet girl and if it was reported she worked in Tescos i think things would be very diffrent.

I'm sure there would be a much bigger public outcry on this if it was just 5 normal women.

I can't imagine what women in that area are feeling right now, could could be making yourself a target when doing something as simple as standing on a corner trying to catch a taxi after a club.

I heard that a girl named Lisa was on an istant messanger and a person that she didnt know loved her.
he said that he would appear at her house so she got scared and slept with her sister. she awoke because she heard tapping on the window and she went back to lay down and she felt something wet and it stunk bad.it was blood.
Then the guy skinned the older sister and hung her in the little sisters closet. Before that she carved her name date and time in to the floor.
a few years later the parents had a baby boy.
So he went on instant messanger and the older sister asked him if his parnts told him that he had a sister. The parents didnt.
So the girl killed his parents because they never told him that he had two sisters.
he didnt believ her so she said to check in the closet where she carved her name date abnd time into the floor. it was true.

I want everyone to visit this website and read the story:
http://www.invisiblechildren.com/home.php
I watched the movie, and it really is life changing. Check the website and try to donate to help young children in Uganda, Africa, who are being kidnapped and brainwashed into fighting for rebels, if they refuse to fight they are killed.
Everyday they live in fear.
