NO NO NO! If you get a chance and want to
find out about foreign affairs or how the world
feels about us watch other country's broadcasts.
Read their news publications. As far as what goes
on here in the states. We're only given fluff news,
whether it's bad or good, because as a politician
would say, "It's for the greater good of the American
public as a whole." Read between the lines and what
you get is they don't care what we think nor do they
think we have the intellect to understand why they
keep us oppressed, "For our own good."

Don't believe me. watch some of the early Sunday
morning news shows like Face the Nation or any other.
Just be prepared to read between the lines.

The key secret of finding out the truth from the media is to read, see or listen to all versions given by the different news sources.

Of course being the news media in hands of men it can be expected that no news can ever be totally impartial. Human nature is basically partialized, and biased.

Its up to the public to read various versions of the same news and decipher the truth.

This can only be done in democratic countries where free press is protected

In despotic, teocratic and dictatorial regimes you will only find one "Official Version" allowed by the Central Government and you will not have any other alternative but to believe it.

Long live Free Press.

The commercially run media, represented by private networks, and newspaper industry is actually telling us what they think we WANT to be told. Their ideology is ALWAYS placed second to the bottom line. Profit margin, not an informed citizenry, is uppermost with them. Do not hold this against them! If they do not make money, they will not remain in business. Therefore, if you do not like the news media, you have only yourself to blame. Taking personal responsibility is a sign of both intelligence, and maturity. This is a harsh reality to be sure, but you know it's true!
