Not necessarily mafias, but gangs that deal with drugs and other illegal things. They can exist in England as well. I was thinking of the Irish mafia in Boston, but any other suggestions are welcome. If you're wondering, it's for a book I'm writing.

Why is it that the tenth month is called October, given that 'oct' means eight? one would think it would be the eighth. i tend to ask people unanswerable questions . . . .i think this one should have an answer though.

My friend is a US marshall and he said it was shot down. He was told this the day after it happened. Is this possible? Are there pictures of the wreckage to prove otherwise?

Zimbabwe and South Africa are perfect examples of one side having power and then losing it and in the end what happened to the former is bound to happen to the second one. Maybe its more of a power struggle and first against third world but these arguments hold true for asians and afrians coming to Europe apart from a few exchange students who have the intellect to see that to get on they need to dump their third world baggage and integrate. But the over whelming majority seek to create their own ghettoes and its only now some of the excuses for politicians are waking up to a problem that is growing 20 heads that is a waste of resources. Before mass immigration racisim wasnt even a word in the dictionary now we need to cater for these peoples excuse making because they are clearly not capabale of being integrated and will forever be a drag on westerners having to make excuses for them. The best solution is mass repatriation.

i know i do my daughter is 16 and hangs around with around 20 others between the ages of 16-19 i have to sit behind closed curtains 24-7 because i tried to get my daughter away from the influences of her peers.. i've been down every avenue to regain control of my daughter but the police wont back me up because she's 16 and the law says she's an adult who can think for herself.. does anyone else out there think there needs to be some changes in the law to help parents who have cared and continue caring for their children and there safety and well being.. do you think its time the age limit for been classed as an adult shoul be put up to 18+

Diplomat cites U.S. 'stupidity' in Iraq
By HAMZA HENDAWI, Associated Press Writer

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A senior U.S. diplomat said the United States had shown "arrogance" and "stupidity" in Iraq but was now ready to talk with any group except Al-Qaida in Iraq to facilitate national reconciliation.

In an interview with Al-Jazeera television aired late Saturday, Alberto Fernandez, director of public diplomacy in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs at the State Department offered an unusually candid assessment of America's war in Iraq.

"We tried to do our best but I think there is much room for criticism because, undoubtedly, there was arrogance and there was stupidity from the United States in Iraq," he said.

"We are open to dialogue because we all know that, at the end of the day, the solution to the hell and the killings in Iraq is linked to an effective Iraqi national reconciliation," he said.

Ok you are a young woman and pregnant out of wedlock
in the times of the Old Testament. Considering people were stoned to death for such an act, what would be the craziest story you could tell the ignorant masses to keep them from killing you.
