Just saw the World Cup on TV and thought their stadia in Germany looked terrific. While New York was trying to bid for the Summer Olympics in 2012, we were trying to get sport events in the respective venues in Shea, Yankee and Jets/Giants Stadia. Now that we didn't get the bid, how much does taxpayers have to foot the bill to upgrade to 21st century standards? If you have any sources you can cite, please let us know. Thanks in advance.
