If you are as charming and have a sparkle about yourself then try asking for the money from someone that you know has money or someone that you know will give you some money. If the sparkle thing doesn't work, then if he likes you the way you like him the gift doesn't have to be a real big gift for him or for her. It's how creative and how much it came from the heart. I did this one time. I didn't have any money on my BF's Birthday, I told an old pair of shoes and I put them in a shoe box and then I took some Hershey's Kisses and put them in the box also. I wrote on a card, "I Love You and on your birthday and any other day I would like to say, I would walk a thousand miles for one of your kisses." He was flattered. If you need help trying to find the words, email me. I will help.

If you have some books or cds, etc that you want to sell, go to amazon.com and set up an account for free. Add your items on there and try to price it a penny or two under someone else to have the lowest bid. Check it often to lower price some if you have too. I have had great success selling on amazon and it has always helped me in a pinch. Once you sell something, you can click on the transfer funds now button and it will transfer to your bank account. Good luck!

Go to the nicest neighbors and explain why you want to work hard. Older adults like to hear about young people who are ambitious and have goals. Offer to mow lawns, walk dogs, wash cars, babysit, etc. Even if they don't want any help with that stuff, ask them to recommend someone else who might. If you can get two people each day to give you $5 to wash their car, you'll be set! Good luck!

Babysit, ask a round your neighborhood if you can do something for them while they are on their vacation, mow the lawn, walk their dogs or clean house. I don't think your boyfriend would expect you to spend more than you have. If he does, then why go with him. The main question is...why did you wait till the last minute
