I typically tip between nothing and 20%. It depends on how quickly my food arrives, if the order is correct, and how friendly the driver is. If the resturant tells me up front hey it's an hour wait, and he arrives within an hour, an hour and ten minutes, it's correct, and the driver is friendly, he'll get the full 20%.

They put gas in their car based on their tips, maintenance, etc. The people that I know that work delivery usually only make a couple of bucks an hour, and the rest of their income is tips.

usually must people dont work by the amount on the bill by delivery a buck is the going rate. on the other hand restaurants are double the tax or 15%

normally 1 or 2 dollars should be fine, if they delivered a high quantity or you spent a lot you could go as much as around 5 to 7 percent, I would say.... like if they just delivered 200 dollars of something you might give the guy 10 dollars and he will be really happy!

Of all the people who deserve tipping, anyone who brings me food, gets at least 20%. Remember, they probably aren't getting a gas allowance.
