I'm assuming it's a telemarketing thing because when I picked up the phone, they told me that I'm elgible to lower all my credit cards' interest rate to 6.9% if my debt is at least $2,500. And it says to press 1 to speak with someone, or press 2 to be erased. I pressed 1 to and spoke with someone, he said he could lower ALL my credit cards interest rate to 6.9%, then he asked to "verify" my information... that's where I became susipicious.... What do you guys think? Are there such things?

I called one of my credit card companies and they said they don't have such affliation... and that it might be an outside markerter telecompany or some sort... should I believe this "promotion" or it's impossible?!

A certain "weight loss" company/ represented by the ex "Cheers employee" misleads their employees, has their employees lie to the clients, suggests that the employees tell the clients that they have lost weight themselves on the program, when it's a bold faced lie- How can someone let the consumer world know that they'll lose more money than lbs. buying into this Lie-factory?

I'm a free lance artist and wall faux finnisher. 3 years ago I was booted from my old studio because of the actions of a "used to be" friend! I've been floating around from friends house to friends house with no place to set up for painting. I so desperately need to find some sort of wherehouse or garage where I can paint again. I don't have much money (the starving artist thing!) But i can do work or painting in exchange. I hope someone can help. I'm a really good artist. I've been published, won awards, and, when I can paint, I have no trouble selling them. Thanks
