They are on a small tree in my front yard. Will they go away or make it their new home?

Last night, I saw a roach on my back steps. I stepped over it a few times going in and out of the house, but it didn't move until I relentlessly sprayed it with all-purpose bug spray. Then I sprayed all around the concrete steps. This morning, I found what might be another roach dead near where I sprayed the most. The first roach was large, a bit over an inch. It was a reddish brown color. The second, is a little smaller and almost black. It was also less "boxy" looking.

Our back concrete steps are in bad condition. They're pulling away from the house and have some cracks, crevices, and holes near the base. Last night was hot and muggy and working up to a big storm. We were running the air conditioner. I'm in the south suburbs of Chicago. I'm not sure what other info might help.

What do I do now? Do I need an exterminator, or can I handle this problem? Do I even have a real problem? Help!

I use my mixer often enough for it to be a pain to move into the center of the counter so I can use it. The rubber on the bottom is great for allowing the mixer not to move at higher speeds but makes it so that I have to lift it from the back courner of some counter space. It lives under a cabinet that is too low to lift the head of the mixer. I'm looking for some kind of base with wheels or a sliding part that would allow me to set the mixer on it and slide it on some sort of track into the middle of the counter. Does anyone know of something like this or have any creative ideas? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

My pepper plants in the greenhouse are starting to grow fruits, but some of the stalks are turning black, shrivelling and falling off while the peppers are still tiny. Other fruits are fine and seem to be growing OK. Does anyone have any ideas as to what's wrong? Thanks

I have just planted sunflowers in my garden and need to know whether you prune and/or trim the flower once it has wilted. And, on what area of the sunflower do you trim/prune?

My room mate is constantly "lecturing" me about having my bedroom window open while she has the air conditioner on at its lowest setting and how it is driving the electric bill up. I have closed and blocked off all of the vents to my room as well as the door. I did this back at home, my parents never had a problem with it (that I am aware of).

I have a kenmore dishwasher and it's not draining correctly. The dishes aren't getting clean and there is some water sitting in the bottom when it's done too. We took off the little screen at the bottom and there is nothing down there except the dirty water. PLease can anyone tell me how to fix this?

cupboards, and units, dishwashers, american fridgefreezer, you name it we got it but the problem is that to get everything to fit in we needed to locate the electric oven about 4 feet away from the gas hob,now the dishwasher we bought fits perfectly under the gas hob where the oven was,its a white style dishwasher,do u think that it would be safe to slide it under the hob unit or would it be to risky, the way it is it would be hob fitted into the worktop surface and dishwasher plumbed in underneath it,
