Women's Health - April 2007

Recently, I have been slightly itchier in the vaginal area. It isn't too bad, but can be irritating. It is especially itchier, however, when I urinate. I have not done anything different recently, and am a virgin so have not had intercourse. I have been engaged in a little bit of other "sexual activity," however, fairly recently. Other than the itching, the only other thing that was odd was that I recently had a yellow, thick discharge. It has only happened once. I have never had a yeast infection or anything else. I know many of you will say I should go to the Dr. and get it checked out and I plan to, but I don't have time for at least a week. Any suggestions on what you think this might be?
Also, this was just out of curiosity (not saying I have one!!), what are other ways to contract STD's besides obviously intercourse?

I have had low cramps for over 10 days. About 2 inches below my belly button. Sorta like AF cramps but different. Period is 2 days late and neg. test. I have no other symptoms, doesnt burn while I pee either. We did have an accident 3 days before ovulation. Super confused any ideas? (I'm married w/ 2 kids allready)

I will be going to my doctor on monday for a checkup.

My last period was march 8th and it lasted 6 days. I'm not on any pills or medicines at all and my period average 30-35 days apart. I had sex march 19th and felt a sharp pain for a few hours on my right side so I assumed I ovulated then. I felt it again on march 27th and I still do not have my period (today is April 14th) and all pregnancy tests are negative. Is it possible I ovulated twice and my period is coming?

Perhaps I'm a bit weird...but half the time when I orgasm my lower lower back (almost in the middle of by butt) pops. Its this weird pop like its deep down. Sometimes too I get this pain in my lower back when I'm orgasming and as soon as it pops it feels better...its a loud pop too lol. So I was wondering has anyone else every felt this before????

I have been on Depo Provera for about 7 years now. Within the last 3 months or so I have had ZERO sex drive, which is very uncommon for me. Is it possible that this is related to Depo, I know that is one of the side effects but I have never had a problem with Depo in the past.

I am on the birth control pill and I have been for about a year now. It has never agreed with my body and it seems like ever since I started it my legs have constant ache in them. At times there are dull pains in my legs and they will go numb. Is this related to birth control? What are some other proven methods to birth control? My huband and I don't want kids at the moment but I don't want to jepordize my health either. Any tips would be most helpful, and for those who leave immature comments you really aren't proving anything. God Bless!

i have read side effects include gaining weight. but i am a vegetarian and i have lost weight since i just became one 2 months ago. i know another side effect is thinning of the bones, but i drink milk every day. i 'm anemic but i take my iron pills.. is that a bad thing?

As he ejaculates, the warm bath water keeps the sperm alive and as they bath, their movement causes the sperm to disperse thruout the bathtub. It only takes *one* sperm to impregnant her.
He never mated her nor even touched her, all they did was share the same bath(weird I know but some couples prefer that)

a tampon even though its the 2nd day of my 1st period? I have dance rehersal today for 3 hours and i really dont wanna use a pad. Besides i dont like the way pads feel like a wad of cotton between my legs. Is this too soon to start with a tampon?
