If a man taking Finasteride wishes to have a child through intercourse with a woman, will it cause birth defects?

They say pregnant women should not handle Finasteride as it would cause deformations in a male fetus. But can her body absorb it through ejaculated sperm and affect the baby in any way? Can sperm itself carry Finasteride with it?
