For years I faithfully took all kinds of vitamin pills,
some that you can buy in the corner pharmacy and
some that you order from online or a catalog.

Then I was doing some research online and ran
across a report about sewer work that really
shocked me. The writer of the report talked about how he
hates cleaning sewer traps, not because
of the smell, but because of all the undissolved
vitamin and prescription pills clogging the traps.
Some of them he said still have the brand
name visible.

Mind you, he wasn't speaking of a few pills,
but tens of thousands. They collect buckets
of them every month.

So why don't the pills dissolve?

The reason is due to high metallic content of
these pills. Metallic minerals like oyster shells,
carbonates, oxides and dolomites have the
consistency of crushed up rocks, which our
bodies were not designed to digest. Even those
pills listed as "natural" often have added
fillers and coatings that inhibit absorption.

The Physician's Desk Reference (page 1542)
shows that vitamins and minerals in a pill form
are only 10 to 20% absorbed by the body. That
means for every $100 you are spending on
nutrients, you are literally flushing about $90
of it down the toilet.

After reading that, I knew there had to
be a better way.

I learned that nutritional drinks offer a 98%
absorption rate because they bypass the
digestive process and go directly into the
blood stream and into the cells within a
matter of minutes.

Take them individually. GNC has good products which are tested for solubility etc. The multi-vitamins don't have the necessary potency you need if you're doing the heavy workouts. The individual GNC vitamins are really high potency. Start with the Basic B and C with Rose Hips and then go from there. They have really high potency/dosage levels.

vitamins are good but you may need more protein, if working out your muscles need something to feed them. If you want something that combines both then you should try either bulk and muscle formula or formula 1, its only available on the net. go to www,myhealthabc.com
fill out your details, ignore that its about weight loss!! go into the shopping mall area and look in sports fitness. there is link so you can enail the owner if you want, or email him so he wont ring you up--either way he will oblige. The stuff is great and gives you all the cellular nutrition your body will ever need.

Yes, they do work. You'll body won't absorb everything, but certainly most of it. And as for people who say you don't need them if you eat properly -- it's extremely difficult to get a perfectly balanced diet without consuming like 5000 calories a day. And besides, there are some vitamins it's difficult to get otherwise (e.g., unless you eat meat, you can't get B12 without a supplement).

Mulit Vitamins usually have B vitamins in them, which are the ones that give you energy. Therefore, if you are getting the B vitamins from your vitamin, then the others one are probably working too. Take care :)

When you exercises more, you eat more. If you eat healthy food, it will have plenty of vitamins in it. So, in your case, they're probably a waste of time and money. People need them who don't eat enough healthy food. Such as little kids who are too picky about what they will eat, and try to feed their broccoli to the dog, but even he won't eat it.
