Could a HSV-1 and HSV-2 blood test come back positive if you are currently dealing with Shingles?

i wear glasses and i want to change to contacts now that im in college. the thing is, i have these little bumps things on my eyes that wont seem to go away. they are not pimples, because they are really really tiny, and i have this only on my right eye. what is it, what should i do? i really want contacts but i am too embarassed to look at people in the eyes when speaking, because i feel that they are staring at it. i hate that feeling, and even though my glasses do help cover it a little, i still feel this way. is there anything i can do to get rid of it??

My boss tells me it could be a fungus (like athletes foot, since its on my hands dyu think it'll be considered athletes hand) or something, If it is i can only fault myself for not wearing my work gloves as much as i am supposed to.

Also my wife had a bad case of Ecxema (since her childhood)
Its not contageous is it (dont worry i aint gonna go runnin out the door) I've been here before asking questions for her and i will see every now and then other husbands saying they got ecxema from theyr wives.

are theyr any over the counter products or home remedys I could use to fix this or do i have to go to the docs.

I am taking evening primrose oil for hormones. I am having bad acne so I am wandering how the evening primrose oil could affect it. I started taking all this in September I noticed in November when it became worse. Hope to get some great feedback!

I am stressed so I know that is why is attacking me. But I put on some low-steroidal cream and it used to work like a charm. But during the day and night it has gotten out of control! I am getting it on my thighs, stomache, elbows, arms, back, and buttox. What works out there? I HAVE NO INSURANCE until 4 months from now. Any over the counter remedies? I tried all the regular anti-itch stuff and my rash is too intense for it. I find myself scratching like a dog with fleas at 3 am and cannot sleep.

I recently bought a bunch of Avon products, mostly Anew & Clearskin. Ive been using them for about 4 days now. I've been using the Anew products in the morning & the Clearskin products at night. Now my face is red, I can feel little welts, it must be a rash. An allergic reaction to one of the products. When I wash my face now, it becomes really tight & dry & my skin is starting to flake off. It hurts. Regular lotion burns (I assume because of the perfumes in the lotions.) Can anyone recommend a good face wash & lotion that I can use, to soothe the pain & help my skin heal? Also, which of the products would you think would be more likely to have caused the allergic reaction? I had a friend say that the Clearskin products caused her face to have a rash. So I'm wondering if it may be the Clearskin or possiby the chance that I mixed the different products. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Ive seen it advertised in magazines and its supposed to reduce scarring, hydrate the skin, prevent stretchmarks etc. Is it as good as it sounds??

its almost like a rash

i also get like that when i go in the shower..but thats even on my stomach


but it makes me feel like not wearing shorts in the summer or antyhing

it gets ichy and ugly..


anybody have this problem? know how to solve it?

For like about a year, the corners of my mouth has been pigmented and is in a darker shade compared to the rest of my skin color. It itches occasionally but I have seen a dermatologist and he has given me a steriod cream to apply to sooth the itch and whiten the pigmented areas. Sadly, those treatment seems to have been done in vain. So I was wondering if any good people here have any cure or remedy up for suggestions? Please do help me!!

My family doctor has prescribed several ointments that have not worked long term. Hes sending me to a specialist soon but that could take 2 months. Has anyone had success or seen a dermatologist and what did he do for you. This chronic condition has me off work and is so debilitating.

OK, my skin is doing poorly with this hard water lime stuff. And my scalp.
So, can I shower with hard water, and then rinse off with a coupleof (expensive) gallons of distilled water?
We will change the water system, jsut no inthe winter time. How to get through three months of itching and acne?

The top of my hands seem like they're sunburned but this happened overnight! (And they couldn't have gotten sunburned anyway.) I don't think I need to go to the doctor because its just a nuiscance. What is it? And can I make it go away?

K well yesturday I was in the tanning bed for almost 15 min and than this morning I woke up and saw I was really red in the face and since I protected me eyes with the goggles its white around them and i look bad :(.. What can I do to get myself better and how long do you think it will last ? I have a dance im going to in 2 days, will it be gone by then ? thanks.
