Using distilled water to rinse off when you have hard water?

OK, my skin is doing poorly with this hard water lime stuff. And my scalp.
So, can I shower with hard water, and then rinse off with a coupleof (expensive) gallons of distilled water?
We will change the water system, jsut no inthe winter time. How to get through three months of itching and acne?

First try for a couple of days and then see whether it helps. Then you can go for a water softener. If no relief is seen, needs more aggressive treatment. Look at homeopathy as an option.
