For like about a year, the corners of my mouth has been pigmented and is in a darker shade compared to the rest of my skin color. It itches occasionally but I have seen a dermatologist and he has given me a steriod cream to apply to sooth the itch and whiten the pigmented areas. Sadly, those treatment seems to have been done in vain. So I was wondering if any good people here have any cure or remedy up for suggestions? Please do help me!!

That happened to me! and mine were pretty dry too. After visiting a few different doctors, I found the problem, check it out: I had really terrible allergies, and was sleeping with my mouth open at night. I was drooling just a little bit, and that's what caused the dry, itchiness around the corners of my mouth. It gets dark because after a period of time it becoms a scar from stretching and itching. Be careful, get this checked out because from that same doctors visit I found out that I had minor asthma that needed to be treated immediatly. My suggestion is to find a really great doctor that knows what he or she is talking about.
