I hear you, I had this car accident and it's not fun to describe, but I know the feeling. I just used eye drops, and I had to train my eyelid to shut more each night. A patch helped me while it was still healing, though!

Maybe that's what wrong with my eyes too. I get up and my eyes are dry. I never thought of staying awake to see if my eyelids were closed or not.

use scotch tape to keep them shut..
