My best friend and I are taking up practical nursing. One time she show me her breast, she told me to observe her breast, because she felt that there is something wrong to her breast. So I found out that there is a form of mass on her left breast. I don't know what to think that time. Is it a tumor or just something? Im worried for her. And what are the risk factor of having a breast cancer?

I am walking 60 miles over 3 days in less than 60 days and I need to raise $2200!!! I only have like $225. I dont have cancer. Neither does anyone in my family. I just want to do this because it's such an incredible cause. I wont be able to participate if I dont come up with the money!!! Bit of a special question. A 10yo friend of the son of my housekeeper got struck by a very rare cancer, that they say only 30 people in the world are known to have had it. The doctors are calling to hospitals around the world to see if there's an oncologist who has had a case like this and has the experience of how to deal with it.
If by any chance or huge coincidence there's a doctor on YA : here's a description of the cancer like I heard it : he's got a tumor in the brain, with a metastasis on the spine and behind his left eye ball. The cancer is not transported by the blood and does not affect organs. If anyone has an idea... (and plz, if you don't have anything serious to say, then don't say anything). Thx

He also has to go thru chemo and can't keep his anti-rejection meds down. His incision is still leaking bile and they won't start chemo until it's healed completely.

He lectured me in a stern matter and said cancer was on my horizon. Could my GERD (severe acid reflux) develop into cancer (esphpogal?)? He said it would be possible within even 10 to 15 years from now if I continue to drink alcohol heavily.

He went to the doctor's today and they sent him to the hospital to get an MRI done and an X-ray done. They found out that he has 2 tumors in his stomach and that is why he can't fight his cold off. He also has blood in his feces and that is another cause from the tumors. I cried when he told me and I just want to know how to cope with this and if he is goin to be alright. I love him so much and I don't want to see him go. He doesn't seem upset, but I know that on the inside he is upset. Someone please help me cope with this. Thank you.

A friend of mine who has had hep c for years now was very ill and went into the hospital and they said she had liver cancer. But it was inoperable and very progressed. They said she had 3-6 months to live. Last week I talked to her on the phone and she sounded fine she was complaining of feeling ill but thats its. NOw this weeks she is acting all loopy and like she doesn't know whats going on. She is using depends now. That was a very rapid change in just one week. Her husband says that she is only taking vikoden and that woudn't make her all that loopy. Has anyone ever dealt with anything like this. I mean with the rapid change and the bowel issues. I am in total shock how this came about. One week she was fine and the next its like she doesn't know me. Does anyone know anything about liver cancer. Does this sort of cancer consume your mind...is that whys shes acting crazy.

When I was in 4th grade, I came up with this theory while doing a research project.

When cells have completed their "jobs" in the body, they sort of kill themselves in a way. Well, here's my theory. There's this stuff called antigen, which is a main part of the cancer. When something interrupts the cells job in the body (i.e. Smoking, STD's, UV Rays) it damages a lot of the cells and a greater number of them die a lot faster. When these cells die, they morph into antigen. The excessive amount of antigen in the body causes cancer.

So what do you think? Am I insane or do I have something here?

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago. She had been undergoing chemo until last may. She mainly suffered from endema in one of her legs and loss of appetite. The loss of appetite was mostly early on, but she was able to get around on her own until a month ago.

The doctor switched her to injections in July and things seem to have taken a turn for the worse. She is very fatigued, the endema has now spread to her stomach, she can't walk anymore and the list goes on.

She didn't want to go back into the hospital, so my sister suggested to my mom that they call the ambulance, so that my mom could be taken to another hospital. My mom was very open to the idea, but she did not want to go back to the hospital where she's been treated for the last 3 years. The ambulance took her to a different hospital, but when the hospital called the hospital she had been going to, her doc had her transferred.

I'm driving 2 hours to see her tomorrow. What should I ask her doc?

er is 7.I found out about this morning.I am sick so i ain't at school today.But my brother is and he is comin home in 30min.and i am home alone so should I wait till my mom and dad come home or tell him when he comes home? Is colon cancer bad? What are the chances of her,well,ya know,dieing? We prayed a lot this morning. What is colon cancer and what is a colon? And last question, can u get rid of colon cancer? why smoke when u know it can cause cancer, why regret when u got cancer? why try to cure cancer if it is own cause? Everone will die one day be it early or late but why speed it? Is there a hurry? A friend of mine got 4 stage cancer and regret it. Should i laugh at her? But she was once a proud person who smoke like a pro.
